Ok, in fairness, it was around Midnight. Drive-thru moved efficiently but the people manning the window seemed a bit on the rude side; I get it, you are working fast food on a Friday night. It probably does suck however no need to be rude to patrons for no reason.

This cookout needs new management, the only thing consistent at this location now is the cold food, this used to be the best cookout but in the past few months it has fallen off i can only assume it’s the management because why are employees pushing out cold food? I’ve never had that happen at the one in Carolina beach I also go to all the time or the one just down the road the few times I’ve been to it. Pretty saddening to see since this location was the first one in town and most of us locals love going to this specific one. I hope someone reads this and things change, much love

Food is awesome. Love their milkshakes too. I just left 11/16/25 manager was working both windows and killing it. Food was on point and order was made correctly. I didn't catch his name but he deserves some props. They weren't even backed up. We passed the Cookout/taco roos location bc the line was almost into college road.

The food was passable at best, but the portions were tiny. The real issue was the customer service. I came in about 45 minutes ago, and the employee on duty was shockingly rude and condescending. I genuinely regret spending money here. Do yourself a favor and go literally anywhere else.

I ordered a jr cheeseburger and corn dog, fries. The burger and bun was cold and apparently sitting for while. The jr burger is thin patty and not only was cold but was pink on inside. Last time coming to this cookout.

It’s 11:30 am is it truly that hard to have proper heated food, NO!!!
Small lot one way in, only one way out thru the drive thru. Large vehicle's will have issues here so watch out. And the entrance sneaks up on you fast so slow down and it's a bit rough in and out.

Went here for lunch today and it was terrible, we were the only ones in the drive thru and was rushed, got two Quesadilla that the cheese wasn't melted (how do you mess that up?) got a burger with cold spots in the patties, not to mention enough onion for six burgers. Ill continue to stick going to the monkey junction location. This place was horrible
