I'd say it's the best mexican restaurant in the US. You guys are lucky to have it in NC. I was pleased to find the place in my 4th of July trip from Washington D.C. The tostadas of octopus and shrimp are amazing. The service was also great. I'd say the food tastes better than in actual Mexico, I'm born and raised there. Life changing experience really.
My boyfriend and I love this place. We eat here often. They have multiple selections of ceviche and each one are phenomenal. The atmosphere is really nice and so is the restaurant. Very very good food for a great price.

I have eaten there before and the experience is always exceptional. Friday night and a full house (yeah)! No other Mexican restaurant like this in Wilmington. I had family with me from Raleigh and they are foodies so I picked El Mariscal for something they might not have been to in Raleigh. I was right. BRIAN was our waiter and he was excellent.
