Tried Grimmburger today for the first time. Burger was just ok. Fries and onion rings were both not good at all. Service was friendly.

The Grim Burger is one of the best smash patties I have ever had. Enjoyed it so much I immediately ordered a second one and would have ordered a 3rd if my meddling friends didn’t want ice cream. The sauces were top shelf too. I wish there was one in Atlanta. 10/10 recommend.

Had some burgers here the other day. I had the signature Grimmburger. First thoughts: it was okay. The meat didn’t taste seasoned and the signature Grimmsauce didn’t have any flavor, in my opinion. I had a side of onion rings and their fries were very good.

They also got my wife’s burger wrong but they were quick to fix it and were very sincere and professional. Very good customer service for sure. I’m thankful for that.

I would give this place another try for sure, but my first time going it was a bit underwhelming. Especially at the prices, it’s more expensive than Five Guy’s and there’s no combos so an 11 dollar burger plus 5 dollars for fries and you got 16 dollars for 1 person and that’s without a drink. Definitely not cheap.

The lady at the front was absolutely aloof and acted as if we were disturbing her by asking questions (first visit) basically downright rude. We ordered 6 burgers for the 6 people we had with us, each stepped up and ordered theirs. When the food came out, we were missing one, two had cheese where it requested none, and pickles and onions when requested none (thank goodness nothing that was allergy concerned). When we asked if the last was coming out she proceeded to argue with my husband that we only ordered 5. I will say that right there was enough to be over it. Limited seating options , definitely not friendly staff. You have to ask for ketchup or any condiments basically at all and I’ve just never seen that for a burger and fries restaurant. Sadly the two gentlemen behind us were missing one of the burgers as well and then a few minutes after came back up complaining it was cold when they brought it to him. I can say, from initial reviews we were excited to try, but after our first time it wasn’t worth the experience we had. I will never understand why people are in the restaurant and customers service industry who don’t appear to like working with people at all.

Took the fam jam to Grimm for the first time today. We’ve been wanting to try it and we were *not* disappointed. My oldest is picky and said it was the best burger they ever had! Big props to you guys! The food looked just like the IG photos we’ve been drooling over and everything we ordered was absolutely yummy. Always happy to support a small local biz. Congratulations on yalls success. We will be back!

First time at this burger place. Ordered the Grimmburger with cheese sauce, pickles, onion, and tomato. The burger was juicy and hot with a potato bun. My party chose the loaded cheese fries as a side. The fries were crispy fried with cheese sauce and a few toppings. Now, let's talk about the cheese sauce. It had a strange texture that didn't resemble a typical yellow molten cheese. It wasn't bad, but it seemed out of place. I probably wouldn't order the cheese fries again, but definitely the burger. Give these smash burgers a try.

Great burgers, plenty of fries, and decent menu, to include beer and wine. It’s new and has a new fun feel about it but it’s a pretty small restaurant. If you’re lucky to catch it without a crowd it’s a good choice.

The burgers are between 10 and 16 bucks which I consider a decent price compared to Poe’s. You will pay extra for sauce but so what. I think the buns were a potato roll style that was toasted and tasty. Fries had really good seasoning and were fresh. Overall, the food was really good.

There are 8 tables inside and 4 outside, and although the space is limited, the art and atmosphere is updated and fresh.

The only thing that I would have liked to see was an actual soda fountain. Your choices are bottled and canned soda and drinks.

We’re glad we went and we will go again just to try the reaper fries. Just not during peak times.

Outstanding burger! Fries were delicious! Crunchy and flavorful. The sauces were GREAT! Burger ratio is perfect, all the toppings were delicious, and the burgers were tasty! Can’t wait to try the onion rings!

Definitely coming back. Best burger in town so far! New favorite burger spot for sure!

Burger was excellent! Best burger in town thus far. We are foodies and this took the top spot! Classic smash style. Meat to bun ratio is good. Shredded lettuce is great. Fries have a great coating making them crunchy. Second only to Brasserie de Soleil fries!

20/10 Burger! Go get one! 🥰🥰👍👍

I ’ve been a customer since this place first opened, and unfortunately, the quality has been going downhill. The food used to be fresh and well-prepared, but my recent experience was disappointing. After my last purchase, I ended up with food poisoning, which is unacceptable. It’s clear that the attention to quality isn’t what it used to be. I’m lowering my rating as a result. I hope they take this as a wake-up call to improve because I’d love to see them return to the high standards they once had.

Let me first off by saying, I crave these burgers. They are the best burgers right now in Wilmington. I visited the new location with 3 kids in tow. 2 teenagers, 1 preteen. We got burgers, Patty melt, a kids burger, we shared 2 sides, kids didn't get any drinks, and I ordered 1 can of beer. My bill came to $70 bucks. Unfortunately, we won't be going back bc this is just ridiculous for a counter walk up restaurant. The burgers are sooo good though.
