Such a cute atmosphere, good music, friendly staff. The latte had somewhat of a burnt taste/watery compared to other spots around town with quality espresso. But definitely a cute place to stop by for the vibe.

good morning. Ive tried to message yall on Instagram numerous times. I love yalls coffee shop and the marketing is at a genius level. If i could offer some constructive criticism. ive noticed on multiple occasions there is an proclivity of pretension within the baristas. They love chatting amongst themselves rather than being genuinely engaged with the customers. I feel just a little more emphasis on customer engagement would be the icing on the cake for you guys. This is what happens when the owners are scared of conflict within the business and the energy goes unchecked , riding on the highs of group think and popluarity. You become oblivious to the smaller details that make something excellent. ie human connection. Yall are close but for the love of God tone down the entitlement of the baristas.

Really good options fun menu. The employees are really honest about what the flavors are which help you make the best decision. The atmosphere in outback sitting area is awesome. The theme the different types of seating, absolutely loved it!

Hidden Grounds doesn't need a review, but it definitely deserves a review. Downtown Wilmington is chock full of coffee shops and Hidden Grounds is the best. The staff is always phenomenally cheerful and lovely and treats our dog with a pup cup and love each time we're in there. I'm an oatmilk flat white kind of guy and the espresso pulls are always on pointe, and my SO loves the speciality menu. The patio is also so welcoming and fun with all of the dinosaurs. They have a frequent customer punch card, so go support your local coffee place!

This was genuinely the best matcha i’ve ever had. I got the quarter zip and it was heavenly. I wasn’t expecting it to be that good. instantly went back the next day and will be dreaming of this matcha when i leave town. Justin and Ella KILLED it! Made to perfection and moved quick.
