Had a great meal this evening! Fried cheese appetizer is outstanding. Crab dip is awesome. Chicken, pork tenderloin, everything was excellent. Service was excellent. Highly recommended!

This place is consistently great. It has a welcoming, family-friendly vibe, and the food never disappoints. The wedge salad is my go-to, and the steak always has amazing flavor—I really love the seasoning they use. It’s also a big plus that it’s family-owned. It feels like a casual, reliable spot we can count on, especially with little kids. The atmosphere is just right—the volume is never too quiet, so I never feel like my kids are being disruptive. All around, a solid place we keep coming back to!

We were a party of seven who arrived twenty minutes before opening. The door was unlocked so we entered and the staff happily seated us and put on a pot of coffee. They took our drink orders even though they weren’t officially open. Upon opening they took our food orders and promptly prepared our orders. When served everyone was extremely happy with their food.

My husband and I stopped here for dinner for the first time and we will definitely be back! The drinks were delicious, the food was amazing and the service was even better - Jonathan was so welcoming and friendly, and our server Rachel was so sweet and had the absolute best recommendations! Highly recommend the shrimp & scallops blue plate special, it was incredible!!

Last night after my wife’s post operative follow up we diverted to a new place on Carolina Road ten minutes from the Cardiac Center! Junction 421 was a great surprise for rolling the dice to find a new place. It is an old style place close to Carolina Beach! We started off with a sample from the restaurant; Pimento Balls (Very creamy and melted perfectly) !
We then moved onto a Tasty Crab Dip with our drinks. They also provided a bread basket with Strawberry Butter! My wife chose the special of the evening of Shrimp and Scallops and I chose the Risotto with Blackened Shrimp!
We will definitely come back for the delicious food prepared by Zach and Logan as well as the great service from Hailey. She was entertaining as well as helpful to make sure our dinner was enjoyable!

I'd call this just a local joint but it's too classy for that. Either way, it's one of our favorite family event or date night locations. The owner, Jonathan, is exactly what an owner should be: warm, energetic, available, but mostly genuine. While we always have great service here, a special thanks tonight to Aaron. I appreciated both his banter and attentiveness, but especially his willingness to help me design a slightly different dessert that fit my gluten-free needs. Thanks 421, as always, for a great night!

We couldn't figure out a place to go on a Friday night and started driving towards Wilmington and decided to pop in. Boy, when this place says they are comfort food, they not only mean the food but the insanely polite staff! We were greeted like family by the owner and the host and it just got better. The food was really good and our server, Reagan (I think!) was so sweet and attentive. To top it off, they have a ton of Orin Swift wine (which isn't well known but amazing) and the music was such an awesome mix of 90's music, we couldn't help but sing along. The coconut shrimp were delicious, as were the pimento balls, wings and salmon stuff with crab. My kids are already bugging us to go back. The stand out politeness of each and every staff member says so much about the owners and isn't something people seem to value anymore so it was such a nice surprise!
