My daughter was visiting for the week and was craving ACP from K38 in Porters Neck. She placed a pickup order yesterday and picked it up at 4:30. Four hours later she became violently ill with vomiting and diarrhea which is still happening as I write this. This is definitely food poisoning from your establishment. She can’t be the only one! You need to check to see if you are following the recommended protocols for refrigeration and food prep.

I used to come here a couple times a week and really loved it! I will not be returning first I had my beer slammed down on the bar causing beer to go everywhere with no response from the bar tender then I ordered roadside tacos with chicken this is what I got in picture bellow. These soggy tocos and 1 Pacifico beer cost me $21.94

The prices for what you get are NOT it. This used to be my go to spot, but I simply cannot justify spending $30+ on a mediocre meal and drinks. For example, I went tonight and got two skinny margs and two soft ground beef tacos. My total for that was $37. For the quality of the food and drinks.... Not worth it.

Cameron has been our server on multiple occasions and is one of the reasons we keep coming back. The food has always been been top notch at all of the locations but Cam is always so energetic and outgoing!

While not as good IMHO as the Tower 7 "mothership" still a solid Baja style Mexican joint. Did not disappoint. Much better parking situation than the aforementioned location.

My wife and I dined in a few months back. It was about an hour before closing but we figured we could be in an out in a timely manner. I used to work in the restaurant industry so I understood knocking out some of the cleaning duties, however it took 15 minutes for our waitress to come get our drinks after we were seated. There was another issue with the food and the manager came by to check on our table as he was doing with all other guests. We told him of a couple of the inconveniences and he insisted on correcting the issues. He apologized for the errors and went above and beyond to make sure we left happy. All of this to say, the world needs more managers like the one that was working that night. My wife and I are the last people to ever consider "speaking with the manager" but he came to our table first to check in on us. He was empathetic and asked us to please come again soon. We certainly will be back for many years to come. Thank you to the folks over at K38 for having the right people, and good food too!

Always great and delicious. Margaritas are tasty and have tequila. Restaurant is always busy. Glad to have a K38 so close‼

Food and service was great per usual but I do have a complaint about an employee who I believe is the manager. Multiple occasions I’ve been to this location and notice how poorly the manager speaks to her staff. She yells, is so demanding, and speaks so negatively to her staff in front of anybody. It’s almost given me embarrassment listening to it. I always sit at the bar so it’s pretty easy to notice or hear any conversation amongst the staff. I would not be able to tolerate working there if I was spoken to the way the manager speaks. I love this establishment and the vibe but shame on the one manager.

Great bar experience, couple of beers and food taken togo, seemed like a waste for a burrito though ate hear then had to get something else from another restaurant definitely minus on the portion and the burrito sort of fell apart when I got it home and opened up. SoCal Burrito, sadist SoCal burrito I’ve ever seen. Thanks for the cold beer y’all!

This restaurant used to be one of my favorite restaurants in Wilmington. After the previous owner passed, it went downhill and then sold. I stopped coming here before it was sold because we were literally getting cold steak and chicken on our tacos. It's been a long time, and knowing that there was new ownership, we decided to give them a try. The inside and out look precisely the same. I think it is time to remodel. Some of the floorboards where we sat were coming up. The service was not bad but not good either. We had to wait a while to get the attention of our waitress to ask for some Picante sauce and refills for our drinks. She also asked us if we wanted refills when we both needed refills, which was strange because we had just received our food. The chips and salsa are still good, but in the basket of chips they gave us, most of the chips were broken into small pieces. The queso is still good, but it was barely warm. We both ordered Fajitas for our entrees. Our waitress asked us if we wanted a half or entire order. That was new. We both got half, which was half-price—$ 10 each for chicken fajitas and one side. Excellent bargain. The chicken in both dishes was very dry, and the onions and peppers were saturated in the sauce they used. I got rice as my side dish. It is one of the worst things I have ever tasted. No clue why they sell that. It is so bad. Our other side was refried beans. It was okay. Nothing about the food or experience was worth going back.Vegetarian options: They have saladsParking: They have a free parking lot.Wheelchair accessibility: Sitting inside would be tight fit but possible at a couple of their tables.
