Fun atmosphere, food is fantastic, staff is attentive & friendly.

Very unique decorations on the inside. Very calming style atmosphere. Prices are not bad, service was pretty good, and the food tasted good.

First time eating at the establishment hostess polite and seated us no wait.
Food arrived in a timely manner, wife had wings and I had the meatball hoagie. Hoagie was good bun was fresh meatballs were good no over bearing taste like Oregano or other herbs, which gives me indigestion and acid reflux. The sauce seems without over bearing flavor but there was too much cheese, I had to remove some of it to my satisfaction, ordered the whole but I'll get the half sandwich next time.
Wings were good and tasty and crispy.

Parking: We parked in a pay parking lot and walked the riverfront and the parking fee seems reasonable after paying twice the amount at the beach for just one hour for what I paid for three hours downtown

Kid-friendliness: There was a couple who had their children with them and they seem to be enjoying themselves.

This is the first burger I have eaten in months after a surgery and I must tell you it’s AMAZING. It’s not over seasoned or over cooked. I did not eat pizza but I will say that my child gave the pizza a 10 out of 10!!!!
Our server Abby was delightful and very patient whilst everything on the menu looked so delicious we had a hard time deciding on our dinner. The prices are little bit higher ( by maybe a dollar or two) than your fast food places but worth even more than what I actually paid. Your entire family would enjoy the laid back cozy environment and exceptional food.

Kid-friendliness: They have coloring pamphlets for impatient kids and groovy music and sports in different tv screens for the hungry adults

Our family loves Mellow Mushroom Pizza. We choose to drive 30 minutes to get it VS local establishments.

During my recent trip to Mellow Mushroom we visited the downtown Wilmington location as we have many times before and following this visit I won’t give another dime of my money to MM. The attitude of the bartender was that of “you are lucky to be served by me……20 year MM veteran”. When paying, I attempted to use a coupon which could be scanned but the bartender said it could not be done (my wife had used another coupon like this one 2 weeks earlier and it had been scanned).

Done and done. Pizza is great but this service experience was the worst!

Excellent spot for a large party! Was in town recently for a soccer tournament. Had a group of 25+ go out to dinner and went off without issue! Server was great, she stayed on top of everything!! Will definitely go back when in town again.

I wish I was exaggerating when I say I waited AN HOUR for my small pizza. I walked into the establishment and placed an order to go around 6:15pm. The hostess told me it would be 15 minutes. I had nothing better to do so I sat down right in front of the hostess stand. 20 minutes go by, nothing. 30 minutes go by, nothing. 40 minutes go by, still nothing. Yes I could have asked the hostesses every 10 minutes about my order but again I need to emphasize I was sitting IN PLAIN SIGHT IN FRONT of the hostess desk. It was the night of the Ironman race so I just thought it was busy. During this time I would see the same servers walking in and out serving their patio tables, people picking up orders and guest coming in for dining. Now we’re at an hour and i ask the hostess is my order is ready and without hesitation she pulls it from the desk warmer. The time was now 7:23. No I didn’t expect them to yell my name like it was a deli but a simple “did you need something? Have you been helped yet? You have been sitting here for an hour, what do you need?” Would have been nice. There was two hostesses there and I had talked to both of them so it’s not like only one person saw me. Besides waiting an hour for a SMALL pizza, the pie was great. I ordered the holy shiitake pie. And HOLY SHIITAKE it was delicious. I wish I could have enjoyed it sooner.

Slow and inattentive to go service. Placed a to go order through the website at 830, said it was going to be ready at 8:59. I walk in at 8:55 and have to wait for someone at the host stand. She seems confused as if she had no clue there was a to go order. She finally looks it up in the computer and finds it, goes to the back and says “it’s still in the oven.” Wait another 15 minutes and she finally comes out with it. I ask her twice if the order wasn’t even started until I get there and all she does is say have a good night. Get home and the pizza looks anything but impressive, there’s hardly any cheese on the pizza and $3 for 20 tiny pieces of ham is crazy.

Went 8/31 at 8:15ish pm. Restaurant was at - little less than half capacity. I had to ask the hostess to wipe off our table because she tried to sit us at a visibly dirty table. Took ten minutes to get waters, drinks came ten minutes after that. We left at 8:57 and had the server cancel our order and hadn’t even had our appetizer by then.
