Mellow Mushroom Wilmington - Downtown

Cool place, I liked the decor. The food was good but I was part of a group and I ordered my food with my drink and they forgot my order. When I ordered again, they forgot to take off what I asked for. I understand I was part of a big group, but a order should never be lost, especially when it was the first order.

Food was decent but came out all at once. 2nd time ive been here in a month and they're still short staffed and that's understandable to a point but as a single mom when I plan lunch with my kiddos and actually can get an appetizer prior to the main course and then have to ask for things like utensils to eat and refills..... it wasn't even that busy. At all at all. Of course i still tipped. But my waitress seemed annoyed. And my kids have manners and we clean up after ourselves so she barely had to clean up after us. I felt bad for going here now that I think about it. Lunch shouldn't be an inconvenience. I'll go to wrightsville or oleander next time they choose mellow mushroom as a go to.

My server had recently turned 21 and not only did she go out of her way to look up the key notes in a local brew I ordered, she was attentive and never had to write a single thing down, my water glass was always full and everyone else was super friendly. Great art inside. Love the Mona Lisa with neon light flower in her hair. I got a Greek salad and it was super fresh and the mystery tour pizza 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Rude staff all just stared at me and my sisters when we entered and said nothing at all. Just dirty looks, after a good 30 seconds of awkwardness and staring at each other I asked if we could eat here?? And finally after the stare off, big balding dude said it’s a wait . Weird interaction, rude and unwelcoming.

Spent the last 2 weeks eating everywhere from myrtle beach SC to Emerald Isle NC and I can say without question this was the best experience and most satisfied iv walked away from

So… the lunch special that is TWO slices of pizza typically comes with two actual slices of pizza. Hahaha. NOT TODAY!!! Today, it was obvious it was just one slice of pizza cut down the middle. You know what was not cut down the middle? The bill. What a joke this has become if this is the new way of serving two slices. Goodbye Mellow “The Scam” Mushroom.

I usually come for the lunch special and get the two slices one topping pizza with drink. Normally you get two actual slices of pizza. But this time I got one slice of pizza that was sliced to make two smaller slices. Is this how it’s going to be now?

Always eat at the bar. Mary, Katie, McKenzie and Grace are all fantastic! Reason I like to come back.

The TV’s at the bar however are in desperate need of replacement.

Waited 15 mins and no1 cared to take order .. may be they didn't want to serve me.. others were being tended to and no waiter bothered to look at me.. felt bad and walked away

Some seemingly illegal activity. I went in for lunch today. Ordered the lunch special. Comes with a drink. Waitress rang up the special and added a drink. Brought to her attention and took my debit card back to reverse the charge and ring again. It was right. Last purchase I have made today.

An hour after that purchase… Disney Plus was ordered using my card and about another hour later, a $75 order from Chipotle was made using my card.

I have no idea if it was my server but it’s clear to me that it was someone working there taking card numbers and using them for online purchases.

Don’t know if I will ever return but I know I will tell everyone I know to be mindful of that.

Had to cancel my card, order a new card so for the next 4-5 days, I am without my only card that I use.

Very shitty thing to do.
