Outer Dunes Brewing Company

We had our daughter’s baby shower at the Outer Dunes. It was a perfect location- everyone had a wonderful time! Both Ellie and Joe helped make it a success with all their help! We will come back often and will host any future events here!

We had our wedding here and couldn't picture having it anywhere else. Outer dunes is more than a great brewery owned by husband and wife. It's got the feeling of home. A place with fantastic beer, incredible atmosphere, and Wilmington's most welcoming bartenders. Definitely have an event here with your crew. And try the Hoplogram!

Ellie and the ODB Team knocked it out of the park for a wedding we held last week! Great space with lots of room to hold different aspects of our day with a stage, an adorable fire pit, charming picnic tables and lovely edison bulb string lighting draping off a gorgeous oak tree. 10/10 would love to return for another event, or just a beer in general!

Amazing atmosphere! They have so many fun events, from trivia to music bingo and well as an Oktoberfest event. They have a wide selection of beer too! I wish they would bring back the Kolsch but they have other good light beer options!!

This is a fantastic hidden gem in the outer area of Wilmington. I stopped by, had a few beers, and really enjoyed the Thursday night music bingo. The courtyard area has all the things that you could want, and even an adults only area if the kids get a little too kid-ish. All in all a great place with good quality beverages.

What an amazing venue! Open, spacious, and peaceful. The bar was so cool and unique, and the service was top-notch. We came for a comedy show but loved hanging out afterward — relaxing in the comfy seating, enjoying the fire pit, and playing some cornhole.

My wife and I visited Outer Dunes for your Oktoberfest (2025). It was our first time there and we had a good time. Your garden is a great place to enjoy a brew, a sandwich (or similar) and relax while listening to music. Your place is very well maintained and everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves. We are looking forward to coming back for another event at Outer Dunes.

What a cool place. Not especially fancy, but a great place to grab a beer, maybe hang out in the garden when it's cool enough. Definitely going back in the fall!

Outer Dunes is a hidden gem! I drove past this place so many times and never noticed it until I was looking for a brewery. They have a nice indoor bar, but the real draw is the gorgeous, spacious outdoor beer garden with tons of picnic tables, games, a fire pit, and even a stage. This is the perfect place to hang with friends, bring little ones, or even come by yourself!

The night we went there was even a book truck - like a mobile book store - so cute and such a great idea!

The beer selection is basic but covers it all. I got the Mexican Lager and it was very refreshing. They appear to have a nice selection of wines too.

There was a schedule posted with all kinds of weekly events from run clubs to bingo to live music - they have it all!

Outer Dunes Brewery has that vibe, the kind that instantly makes you want to stay awhile. The back patio is my favorite spot, shaded by these massive old live oaks. The perfect escape from the daily hustle.

English pub on the inside, The porch? Straight-up serene. You could post up there for hours and forget time even exists.

As for the beer, do yourself a favor and try the Ocean Crest IPA. It’s crisp and easily stands with the best IPAs out there. Definitely my go to.
