Outer Dunes Brewery has that vibe, the kind that instantly makes you want to stay awhile. The back patio is my favorite spot, shaded by these massive old live oaks. The perfect escape from the daily hustle.
English pub on the inside, The porch? Straight-up serene. You could post up there for hours and forget time even exists.
As for the beer, do yourself a favor and try the Ocean Crest IPA. It’s crisp and easily stands with the best IPAs out there. Definitely my go to.
This is easily one of my favorite places to play as a musician. The transformation Ellie and Phil have made to the property is amazing. The staff is great and the patrons appreciate what a special gathering place Outer Dunes has become over the last several years.
I've been meaning to write a review for a while now. Outer Dunes checks off all the boxes for a place I choose to frequent. What I valued initially was their support for local businesses and entrepreneurs. It would be easy to avoid this, but ODB encourages the scene of musicians, food trucks, vendors for events, and those alike. From the first day I stepped in I noticed they were inviting and kind. The atmosphere felt as if I was in my own back yard. I pride myself on my intuition and I can honestly say that I feel the owners and staff truly care about their patrons. The beer is top tier in every style across the board. If you let them know style you like, they'll point you in the right direction. I will mention the venue is 21 and up, but it's understanding given the nature of adult beverages and the liability children can carry.
If you can get in on a night with music and some Wheelz Pizza, there’s no better spot to be. The beer garden is like nothing in the area. Always a treat to hang out at.
Great atmosphere and love the live music! Beautiful outdoor seating! Great food trucks! A gem!!!!!!
Just sat down and ordered pizza and beer to be told that we aren’t welcome with our children. This was a huge disappointment. We gathered with grandparents, friends, and out of town family members to be kicked out abruptly. We will not come back and would not recommend. Also very hard to get a drink- should have gone to The Bend! I support respectful children and parents. No need to ask 15-20 people to leave for having infants and appropriately behaved children.
Great atmosphere and experience! Plenty of seating and the live music and events are great. Jessica the bartender was amazing! She was so welcoming and made sure my group was well taken care of
I don’t know if I can post this as a review as I have not been there yet, but I was curious to see why it had 4.2 stars. Come to find out it’s angry parents that they can’t bring their kids to a brewery. I think for that fact, alone, my wife and I WILL be going to this location!!
We have often lamented that we have gone to breweries several times over the last several years only to be put off by the daycare center atmosphere. Kids running around half attended to by their half buzzed parents. Finally! A place that respects people who don’t want to be sitting in preschool while enjoying a beer. They have my support!!! 100%, and to all the angry parents, posting one star reviews on here, support the local economy, and get a babysitter!
Update…we went and the place is solid! Tasty blonde ale.
Beautiful place, great people, and awesome beers! Highly recommend!
Great atmosphere and great service.

Very disappointed by the way they run their business. Showing up to a live music event just to find they don’t allow children past 6pm is quite irritating. I find it disrespectful to have this blocked off to children when it’s an outside setting and supposedly not age restricted. I will not be supporting this business in any way after finding out that they don’t support parents!

NOT KID FRIENDLY!!! don’t really understand the not kid friendly environment. It is a very very nice environment, I give them a five star for that. The bar tender also wasn’t very friendly. It’s a shame about the kid policy because this place is very nice. We probably won’t be back because of the kid policy and having a kid we can go to every other brewery and not have that as an issue and because how unfriendly the bartender was we wont be back.
Great experience! Super friendly bartender Ellie was helpful with choosing the right beverage!
We hosted a singles event with 150+ people at Outer Dunes and it was the perfect event space! Ellie was awesome to work with and had great communication. The staff had games set up inside and outside for us that we enjoyed! Even though it ended up raining, everyone had a great time and Outer Dunes provided exceptional service. I would definitely recommend hosting your event there!
