“I’ve visited Papis Chicken several times and I have always been pleased with each dish! I got the half chicken, fried rice, and black beans. All was good, but that chicken is 5 ⭐️ worthy! If you want some of the BEST chicken in the Leland/Wilmington then you got to visit Papis! Also the atmosphere is awesome to dine in and there is plenty of parking! Service is always top notch ?? “Deceivingly modest exterior of a family run Peruvian fair with delicious food. Mini empanadas for a starter then three entrees, each with distinct flavors and great sauces. Please try the mango habanero sauce with oregano. Not on the beach, not a tourist trap, not another gyro and spaghetti diner although there are burgers on the menu if you must. We’ll be sure to go again next time we are in town and try other menu items. Service was friendly and knowledgeable, clean restrooms and plenty of parking.“
