I only wish you could toast the bread for folks like me. It shouldn’t be too difficult if you have an oven to place the bread in for a few minutes

I hope this reaches the owner. I’ve been a long time customer. I mean from way back at your previous location. We ordered almost 90.00 of cheesesteaks and food for our table. When the cheesesteak came I couldn’t even see the cheese. The steak barely existed. I wish I would’ve thought to take a pic. It would’ve really drove my point home. I pretty much ordered an overpriced 6 in roll. Both cheesesteaks were like this. All bread, barely meat. Not to mention ruin the add ons were extra priced. If cheesesteak is in your name it should really be a knock out. The service is always amazing. The food has become less than sub par! The staff that works are all so kind, warm and sweet. The food however, has really turned to such a rip off!

This was my first and last time coming here. I don't know how a place can be named port city cheesesteak and not be able to make one… lets start I walked in and did not know where to go until i seen someone at the bar so i went over to her and I guess thats where you order im not sure but she took my order there on a piece of paper and I asked for ketchup and mayo on my cheesesteak and she shook her head at me but when i got it there was no mayo or ketchup and it did not say it on the receipt and I get that some places don't put it on for you, you have to do it ur self but she should have said something instead of just shaking her head at me, but thats the least of it… the cheesesteak…….. its pretty self explanatory. NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN IF YOU CANT EVEN MAKE A CHEESESTEAK

Went for a comedy show, which was garbage, the food was GARBAGE. Took two bites of a 6inch and one onion ring (I got the “my girlfriend’s not hungry” which is fries and onion rings mixed) ALL GARBAGE. I left to walk across the street to get pizza and gave my friends money for my bill but asked that they point out to the waitress that I didn’t eat or even drink half of my beer.. she rolled her eyes and said “well my problem is that she ate most of it” HA. My friend is a waitress so she obviously ignored her and paid for it thinking she might just be having a tough night. They were busy, but if you can’t handle a high volume restaurant, you shouldn’t be working at one which could be a management problem. This was their second chance with me, because I’ve ordered food from there on DoorDash before and it was terrible but I figured it was because it’s delivery. NOPE, it’s just bad The waitress, Taylor, who never checked on us after we got the food really just blew us away with her comment. I would have felt better if I she said “they give me a hard time for comping food” or something. Had I been there, the scenario would have gone a lot differently. I didn’t intend to write this review otherwise I would’ve taken a better picture but after hearing about the waitress I just had to. I didn’t even care about paying.. I left money but the comment was so unnecessary.

Visited here the weekend of River Fest and had the 12in cheesteak with chilli fries. I'm not a crinkle fry person so those were okay. The star of the show was the sub. It was absolutely delicious. The pickles were phenomenal like they were home cannes. The banana peppers and tomatoes too. It was so cheesy that I was on a cloud enjoying it. I've thought of nothing else since. Next time I'm in town, it's a must. Our waitress was very nice and attentive and the food didn't take long. It was a Sunday and so the TV had the game on. The bar had folks seated too look to be having a good time. We dined in with takeout containers due to only having 35mins on the parking meter. Of course we left a tip. Again, our waitress was really cool.

I don't know why yall changed the French fries yall had but yall messed up doing that.
Had a great experience at Port City Cheesesteak. Ordered two Cheesesteaks and an order of onion rings. Service was quick and our server/bartender Izzy was on top of things and kept the sweet tea coming. We will be back next time we're in Wilmington.
