I recently came to this location expecting the same friendly welcome I always receive by the amazing staff, but one of the employees need to be reevaluated for the way he treats customers. The worker that I received this terrible experience from was named jake. He had absolutely no respect and treated me so poorly, seemingly mocking me making me feel stupid and I’m guessing messed up my drink on purpose. I hope that he is held accountable for his actions, since I’m assuming I’m not the only one he’s done this too.

We visited this coffee shop this afternoon. The floor and tables were filthy. Shelves were dirty and looked that they hadn't been cleaned all week. They need a manager to assign thorough cleaning daily and show the young girls how to clean.

Would have given it 5 stars but I ordered the sausage breakfast sandwich and when I got home it was bacon. Coffee however was amazing!

I'm editing my review bc I have enjoyed Port City Java products at other locations in town for years. The day I left this review, I went in and was not greeted or acknowledged for a few minutes. I just ended up leaving. It did not appear to be super busy but their may have been orders for customers not in the store.

Sadly, I am going to look for an alternative coffee stop due to being put on the spot for a tip every visit to the drive thru window. (There is also a tip box)

Coffee tastes burnt. I can make better espresso at home. Not coming back for coffee again, absolutely terrible. Food was tasty though, had the southwestern

If you want a order done correctly, you may want to go elsewhere. I've been frequenting this establishment for 4 years now and I think we will be breaking up.I tend to use mobile ordering to do a quick pick up and have gone in and my drink be completely forgotten about resulting in 10 minutes of me standing there waiting on my drink. Due to those recent mishaps, I decided to start going to the Drive thru again and they still can't get the order correct or out. Today I was passed a regular coffee, the batista took it back, gave me my correct drink for me to find out once I got to the office it was still wrong.

The staff at this particular PCJ are the SWEETEST. Major props to Halie and her team for always delivering a great latte and lots of smiles. I love having meetings with clients here!

Negative experience. I got a coffee in porters neck (very kind staff) but I think the milk was soured. I was on Oleander before I ever tasted it. I called, and they recommended stopping at this location and they would prob just switch it out for me. Was a coffee, cream and 2 Splenda nothing fancy.I was told, no can not. And they would have to charge me b/c they have different financials. Well DUH! But is a relatively plan coffee, and I wanted to show her the milk from my Fill coffe, “we don’t take trash thur the drive thru” .That’s cool I paid twice for coffee and the new one doesn’t even have the Splenda in it. Lots of other coffee choices in area.

Convenient location but after reviewing multiple receipts I noticed that gratuity was charged automatically on each one. Not once has a cashier asked if I wanted to leave the tip or when paying with a credit card. Nor is there signage letting customers know that there is an auto charge. Just make your customers aware, it's not difficult. Not to mention tips are discretionary, nor is it always necessary when someone pours you a cup of coffee vs. having a drink made. And then there's times you tipped with cash, in the tip jars that are at the register, only to realize you were automatically charged a tip, too.

I'm picky and they consistently make my coffee drink extremely well. Always friendly also.
