Here celebrating our 37th Anniversary. Our son highly recommended we try Rooster & Crow. What a find. Our fried green tomato BLT, and jala pimento cheeseburger were phenomenal - everything fresh and so good. Our bartender/mixologist, Whitney, was a master at her craft.....putting thought and creativity into her drinks. Just wow!

Best fried chicken around! It's moist with a great crispy coating. The Fried Green Tomatoes with pimento cheese and bacon jam is outstanding. Lovely staff and a cozy atmosphere. We will definitely be back to try some of the other savory offerings.

The food and the service was excellent. We are from Florida and we brought our little Morkie with us. They had a separate area for us.

My husband and I went to Rooster & The Crow this past Friday evening and thoroughly enjoyed it. We were greeted at the door by Becky who was so very gracious and welcoming. Our server, Eli, as excellent and was attentive to all our needs.
We first started with the fried green tomatoes, which were excellent. The addition of the pimento cheese and bacon jam were the 'chef's kiss' to an already great appetizer.
For our main meal, I had the shrimp and grits; while my husband had the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and collards. My shrimp and grits were delicious, albeit a little on the runny side. However, the taste profile was so good that I literally could not stop eating it...just the right amount of spice/heat. The portion was huge, so I had enough to take home for leftovers.
My husband said his fried chicken was very good. He said he would order it again, but likely with another side instead of the collards. Otherwise, he did enjoy his meal.
We finished things off with some of the absolute best banana pudding we have ever had in our lives...and we have had a lot of banana pudding throughout our lives. It was served in a mason jar and topped with homemade whipped cream that was decadent. The serving size was truly enough for 2-3.
Overall, it was an excellent meal and we look forward to visiting Rooster & The Crow again in the near future.

Great night at R&C. Got a to go order and sat out in the beer garden listening to bluegrass. Fried chicken is so juicy and delicious, just needed more napkins. Julia our hostess was terrific! See ya next time.

The food is delicious except for the white meat chicken. It needs an extra brine. Otherwise, the food is excellent.

The fried chicken was good. Get it early because it sells out. Arcade nearby to help kill a little time.

It was a quick stop in Wilmington NC and a very pleasant surprise to eat here. Because I'm outta town we ask for suggestions, I have the willy grilled chicken sandwich, full of taste and really well put together, it's for sure my returning call. My daughter had the grilled chicken with Caesar salad, just perfect, full of flavor and the dressing was delicious... Two really great options.

We have dined here a few times with no issue. Last week, however, I took a to go order of fried chicken and got food poisoning to the point of having to see my doctor. When I was well enough to call, I was hoping to speak to one of the owners, Zack or Allan and have been waiting for a call back since the 23rd.
I was hooping to avoid having to do this write-up but feel it is necessary. Unclear what the sanitary conditions are in the kitchen or whether I was dished out some old chicken but this is not right. Am still taking medication and still do not feel well.
Complete and total disregard by the owners not even cared enough to call back - was told they would call when they got around to it. Stay away!!!
