Loved this place! Food was very good here. My wife had the shrimp and grits and while she would have liked a little more andouille sausage it was good. I had the fried chicken which was excellent. The grits were also excellent as well (I ended up eating my wife's as well as mine). My daughter got a grilled chicken sandwich made exactly to what she ordered. She liked it as well. Great atmosphere in the NEST which was a little quieter than the main area. We also waited in the Beergarten, which had a live band and was really fun. Really liked how the mall here is put together and all works in concert with one another. Didn't try the arcade, but will next time. Definitely recommend.

Best fried chicken I've had hands down. Just sorry that I have to write this so more people find out about it. I want to keep it all for myself. If you're looking for fried chicken in Wilmington this is the spot.

The absolute best Fried Green Tomatoes appetizer ever! I could eat this as a meal. Great burgers, chicken sandwiches, sides, service, atmosphere and right on Water St at the Cape Fear River, all of which make this place highly recommended.

Food was delicious. Our server seemed really busy, even though it wasn’t busy. He never checked in with us. He did introduce himself in the beginning, but after that he didn’t. I did get his attention every time and he came over right away, so it worked out.

Food was really good. There’s an arcade in the same building that’s apart of the restaurant. It was great to go there after dinner. I’d go there again for sure.

I got the Rooster Cogchicken or something like that. Basically a chicken sandwich. It was good. My fiancé got a burger. She says it was good but messy. Comes with 2 patties. That was a surprise for her.

Dessert was pretty good. We got the banana pudding. There needed to be more pudding.

Drinks were good ??

If you’re looking for a place to eat in Wilmington, this is a perfect choice! We were sat quickly on a Saturday afternoon and our server was very nice and attentive.

My husband and I both ordered the fried chicken and it was absolutely delicious. Super crispy and juicy without being greasy. The mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were also great! Both were so flavorful and great side choices for the chicken! We finished our meal off with banana pudding and OMG…just order it! SO good.

All in all, this was the best meal we’ve had in a while and can’t wait to come back!

My husband & I visited on a busy night but they managed get us a table pretty quickly. Staff was friendly & quick to serve. Food was delicious. Tried the brisket sandwich with green fried tomato & gator bite appetizers.
