It’s been a few years since I last ate here. It’s not as good as I remember. Biscuits and gravy were decent. Sausage patty is not good sausage. Ordered soft scrambled egg, got extremely over cooked dry browned eggs. Very over priced. $4.29 for a single sausage patty?

Sorry to give a bad review but breakfast was not good at all, short on staff . We asked for more coffee and she brought us a carafe of Tea ! When we got her attention she said sorry I’ll be right back with coffee and never came back . Strange , maybe they had a bad day .

This was our first time trying the restaurant. It was really opportunistic. It first started with the hostess. She did not like where we were standing while we waited so she instructed us to stand somewhere else. Not an issue but it was the way she asked. She seemed annoyed and said something under her breath. The food was not good. The crab cake egg Benedict was really bad. I love a good Benedict and this was the worst one I have ever had. The pictures are below. The egg is over medium and not over easy. The sauce tasted like mayonnaise. Seriously, mayonnaise. I managed to eat one and just couldn’t stomach the second. The biscuits were dry. The service was suuuper slow. Overall, it was really bad.

Eh, it's food. It's not a new restaurant, they should be able to handle a full sitting better than they do. Beer is very cold!!!

This place gives a country-like feel but more like a diner. Service was great, no complaints, super nice. The breakfast on the other hand left a lot to be desired. Pancakes tasted like they way too much poured almond flavoring in them, and they were kind of rubbery. The syrup was a very cheap aftermarket, high fructose corn syrup wannabe, which made the whole pancake/syrup experience lacking authentic flavor. Could’ve had a much better experience with a good maple syrup. Grits and scrabbled eggs also seemed a bit dry. As we were eating breakfast, I was already thinking about what other place what I want to eat at tomorrow while I’m here on vacation in Wilmington. I will not be back.My overall experience was a 2.5 at best. Trying to get the flavor out of my mouth…?

Best breakfast and decision ever. Coming from Fayetteville NC. Our normal stop for breakfast had a long wait and short staff so we decided to go on an adventure looking for a breakfast diner. Thank you for the best quality service and food.

The most kind and friendly service, and great home cooking. We go a couple of times a month and Angie and the rest of the team are amazing every time. Highly recommend.
