Fried mushrooms good & hot(bear batter) ordered chicken fried chicken, was tender. Friend ordered liver/onions said was good. Nice & thin. Fried okra was over cooked and asked for gravey on side but put on mashed potatoes (not a big deal, just not how I asked) waitress didn't check on us at all until we were done,(was not busy at all so it wasn’t bc of to many patrons) didn't offer dessert mistake bc we were going to get cheesecake to go..also could hear cussing from the...read full review

Great food, excellent service... prices were good for what was received. However, my husband was only 1 of 2 black people in the full restaurant.
We were not treated badly, just noticed the dominance of white staff and customers.
If you like breakfast but this of waffle house or Ihop, go to sawmill... their lunch and dinner options are just as good a breakfast!! Don't sleep on this place 😀
