We were greeted by friendly people and waited on promptly. Had a call in order from the kitchen and it was ready on time. The food we ordered was delicious, probably the best she crab soup I've ever eaten. Oysters, shrimp, softshell crabs all were great. We also bought a couple of pounds of large shrimp to cook later.

Listen, this is not a “dine in” restaurant but they have a couple tables set up inside and I ate inside. It’s cold in there. It smells like fresh seafood. The people are incredible and the food is amazing. Try to get it to go though.

This is one of the best places to get food in Wilmington! My office regularly places large orders and the staff is always so friendly and accommodating. The food is fresh, hot, and well priced. Highly recommend!

Seafood and hush puppies were exquisite. The sides were subpar. Coleslaw was too thick and chunky. I had to take the Mac and cheese home and add cheese to it as the sauce was almost watery and didn’t have much flavor. With the cheddar shreds added it was amazing. I had the best slice of chocolate cake I’ve had in my life there. I did not like that they only had unsweet tea in the cooler. That was odd for Eastern Carolina. The atmosphere was unique. I can tell it is cozy for frequent flyers but for those of us not from the area it was confusing. I thought it would be a full service restaurant but you ordered and received your food at the register. You could then pick a picnic style booth to eat at if you chose but you may be sharing with another family as there are only 4 tables. I wasn’t sure if the tables were even for eating or if it was take out only. I stood around until I saw an obvious regular sit down and start eating. Overall this was definitely a good pick for lunch/dinner/breakfast-the-next-day (huge portion). I live 2 hours away but I plan to make the drive back in the next couple of weeks to get another plate!

I have so many mixed feelings about this place. The actual seafood was great!! While my main entree was the blackened scallops, I had the opportunity to try the fried shrimp and fried oysters — all of was perfect! The disappointment was in the sides — the coleslaw and side salad left something to be desired. The ancient grains and fried okra were pretty good. I made the mistake of trying the salmon and crab deviled eggs — don’t do it!!!

Babbyyyyyy! Whewwww! So glad I found this spot! I got a kids shrimp and a Monster Taco! Service was great! Everyone was nice and helpful! Food was Piping hot! Yes! Fries and shrimp seasoned to perfection! I asked for cocktail sauce and tarter sauce. I got cocktail and a very tasty white seasoned sauce! Lol I ain't have no quarrels about! That Monster Taco!!! The fish was a nice lil chunk. I put that white sauce on it and some cocktail and yessuh!
They have crabs to $2 a piece, dozen for just $19.95. pay a few dollars and get them steamed! You can eat inside too!

I went in to order a flounder platter. It advertises 2 sides and I asked for fries and hush puppies. I also ordered what I thought was a soft shell crab but I misunderstood and accidentally ordered the fried crab add on. The guy at the register had the chef make me one and didn’t charge me the extra for the soft shell crab. The only issue was when I got home I got everything I ordered except the hush puppies! Really disappointed on that. I love those things. I would’ve given 5 stars if they hadn’t missed the hush puppies!the flounder was a little overdone but still good and the soft shell crab was a little overdone also. You can see that in the pic. All in all the food wasn’t bad at all. And I got to experience my first soft shell crab. Interesting and good.

Always have had a decent experience with buying seafood from here. However, I will recommend checking your food from the kitchen before you leave. So, I guess I am partial to blame since I didn’t catch it before we left and they were pretty busy. Very disappointed this evening. Half the order was fine, but the part that wasn’t was botched.

Ordered a Cesar salad.. came with no dressing and they had the salad sitting on top of a nice piping hot fried fish plate. Asked for a piece of rare tuna for it… literally is well done. Had a small order of fries tacked on, could say they are hard fried with how dark they are and dry.

Like, come on. Is anybody back there expediting on a Friday night to make sure the orders are correct? I’ll stick to cooking my own food from them moving forward.

Very fresh seafood market and restaurant. Can but seafood to cook, cooked chilled ready to eat(for there or to go) and prepared seafood(steamed, fried, seared). Amazingly fresh seafood at very reasonable prices.
