My wife ani recently moved to Wilmington. We have been looking at various places to eat and I saw a write up on Soulfil Twist. Yesterday we decided to locate them and found them at their home location. We stopped and spoke with Leon and found that he and Pat owned the food trailer. Leon told us where they would be serving today.We got there early and were in no way disappointed we have had fried okra all over the south including “family “ I will tell you, her breading, is superb not only for the okra but her shrimp. You want to put Soulful Twist on your list of places to eat in Wilmington. 5 stars definitely!!

my husband and I are setup at the riverfront holiday market and just had the wings and I had the fried porkchop sandwich at the Riverfront holiday market and they both are wonderful. my husband said the wings are seasoned so well and cooked perfectly he didnt need dipping sauce. the porkchop sandwich is fried perfectly and is large. next time you see them somewhere, you should stop in and get you some of their great food

Just ate Pat’s seafood gumbo at Watetline Brewing’s Mardi Gras. It was delicious! Best gumbo I’ve ever eaten! Thanks Chef Pat!

We were at a car show and decided to try this food truck. We both had the shrimp burger with French fries, almost everything is fried. It comes in a paper "basket" with a slice of American cheese , coleslaw , lettuce and tomato on top. It arrived , there were about 8 smaller shrimp in it, they had some spice to it. The cheese was just placed on top, it looked like the "plastic" wrapped cheese, no it did not melt. The coleslaw was flavorful and not drippy. The lettuce and tomato left a lot to be desired, limpy . The french fries were not adequately cooked, no crunch and also limp. Sadly it was not a great experience.

I have eaten at this food truck twice, and both times the food was exceptionally good, and the people working inside were very nice and friendly. I have had the pork chop sandwich, the blackened chicken with rice and beans, and their bread pudding. It was all awesome, and their seasonings are very good too!
I had high expectations for this truck. Ordered pulled pork tacos and fries. I asked what type and size of fries were, the people inside the truck had looks of shear panic. Finally found out they were standard type medium size. I asked for them to be crisp. Four tacos, 1 order of fries was $17.00 Not bad if the quality was there. Taco shells standard 6 inch size had less than a tablespoon of pulled pork on them. I had to really try to know what the pork tasted like. The other items were hard to distinguish, based on the standard item served with pulled pork, I'm guessing it was a cabbage slaw. Again, too small amount to taste. The fries were limp, salty, not very good. I didn't bother to go back to tell them since my discussion on the fries was not anything I wanted to do again. I would not seek this truck out or choose it from line of truck. Disappointing.

Food was very tasty, staff was very friendly, but my shrimp burger only had 5 small shrimp on it. My suggestion would be to have jumbo shrimp or give 8-10 shrimp on the burger.
