Closed. Renovating. Under new ownership. Will only be opening at 4pm now. Lost all their friendly neighbor staff except for 3. Guess we will see if the new place with a new name makes it.

It's closed. Don't think they could survive the pandemic. What a shame! They had great food.

I got Renee’s House Made Meatloaf sandwich paired with a Read Oak beer and some fries and it was pretty good. Nothing special about the food and the interior though. Good service, we sat at the bar.

This isn't my first time here but it will be my last. I was very disappointed when I called to place a Togo order at 12:06 and they said it would be ready in 15 minutes. I got there right around 12:20 and they informed me that part of my order wasn't available so I said no problem. The order was then keyed into the system at 12:33. I finally get my food 1:05. It was cold and wrong. They crazy thing is it was kids burger and chicken fingers, along with a chicken wrap. What I figured to be quick and easy turned out be be an hour long wait to get wrong and mediocre food. I'm sure it's a great place to sit down and eat because the people that were there after me got their food super quick.

So we did enjoy our meal. Typical bar food. I had the build your own burger and my wife had the fish and chips. They were both good and my wine was also good. Our waiter Christopher was not very attentive to our table and it wasn't busy. He only made eye contact with my wife and we had to keep flagging him down to get what we needed. He wasn't very friendly at all. We will be going back but it won't be a staple for us.

This is the third time I've been here and it has always been amazing! It was a very slow Sunday evening, which is how I like it and the service was amazing. We started off with the pub pretzels which were perfect! I had the Ahi salad and it was perfection, my parter had the Buffalo chicken flatbread and he said it was amazing! We enjoyed every bite, we were feeling desert but they only had two options, cheese cake and brownie with ice cream, I was hoping for a bigger selection. I would highly recommend going to Tavern on 17!

Honest review. Let's talk about the good. Environment was welcoming, Clean and new. Love to the windows let in some natural light. The staff seemed pleasant in the beginning. We were meeting some friends we haven't seen in so many years here ordered some appetizers and each of us got an entree. Where a total of 4 of us. I had a view of the kitchen doors the kitchen doors which I didn't mind because it was so open I could just look around and get a different view but I happen to see a woman working in the kitchen not a cook eating food off of the plates. Some might call it quality control but I really think that's the cook's job. Not the runner. I was extremely turned off by this I really didn't like somebody other than the cooks touching my food with hands like that. After signing the bill we decided to stay a little bit longer and should chat. The waitress kept giving me dirty looks and shaking your head every time she walked past our table it was pretty clear we were taking up space or she couldn't cash out her check. Either way it was rude and I definitely noticed. Unfortunately I probably will not be coming back to this place due to the service.

Our server, Christopher, was incompetent. Got our order wrong multiple times. Manager was not accommodating. Food was not good. No. No. No. No. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

I come here all the time! Service is amazing and the food is always Awsome. Just ate the nachos and the presentation was Awsome but the flavor was better. I can’t even explain how great this place is. The environment service and food is so great my favorite place to go for food or a drink in Wilmington.

The food and service was okay. The tenderloin had gravy that I was not aware of. The salad was greens and no iceberg or romaine lettuce. The dessert we ordered was not available. I will not be returning.

Pricey but some of the food is good. Our server took forever to get to us, he seemed frazzled!! The pretzels were very good with the yummy queso. My husband got the grilled cheese with beef and he said it was ok. I got the fettuccini with shrimp. I was surprised at how good it was, but it was almost $20!!

Truth be told, I have never heard anything good about this restaurant. Actually, most locals don't even talk about it. I went here today to use a BOGO coupon and give it a fair chance and shot. We arrived for a late lunch and were greeted by a hostess who I don't really think wanted to be there. The interior had a bar area, a long hallway, a small dining room and a large outside area. We chose to eat outside. Our server was friendly but not very knowledgeable about the menu at all. I asked about the crab meat content and she did go ask the chef but could not answer for herself (simple question.). I asked her about the pork chop meal and she couldn't answer that either. Our food took about 20 minutes to come out and they were not busy. In the meantime, a man came outside just to get an ash tray and sit at a table directly behind us and smoke a cigarette. Then He went back inside. It was disgusting. When our food came out, the crab cakes were tiny and were very Cajun spiced. I did not like them at all. I ate the whole thing because I was very hungry and at $26.00 I was not letting them just sit there. I didn't hate them until afterwards when my stomach started hurting really bad because of something they pan fried them in probably. My son had the pork chop meal with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese. The Mac and cheese tasted like Cici's pizza and my son said all he could taste was unhealthy it was. The mashed potatoes were excellent. The pork chops had a very unusual flavor. They were cooked well but the flavor was off putting. My vegetables were good and the bathrooms were clean. We will not be back and I will not be recommending this restaurant to anyone. So many other choices in town for excellent meals including several other restaurants in the same shopping plaza.

The pork and the ribs had no flavor, our loaded pulled rib fries where clearly nuked in the microwave. The fries where also not fully cooked for the loaded platter or the entrees. We paid EIGHTY dollars. And we took approximately 3 bites of our entrees. NOT recommended.
