Wendy's House Wine Shop & Cafe

I went here for the first time the other day and had a truly beautiful evening with my friends. You choose how much wine is in each pour and pay only for what you drink. The selection of domestic and international wines is very large and the atmosphere is cozy in both the indoor and outdoor seating. What really made it for us was the attentiveness of Tammy and Jennifer who were working behind the counter. They served us a nut mix to snack on while drinking wine and even let us polish off some of the bottles that were nearing their end, all on the house! This place is a hidden gem. I highly recommend stopping here for anyone that likes great service and great flavors.

The cheese and crackers are great prices and the atmosphere is not to be missed!

This is a wonderful little spot. I recently enjoyed some very nice wines there, while visiting my brother and sister-in-law in Wilmington, NC. The decor is unique and charming and the staff make you feel like family! If you enjoy a good wine and you are in the area, Wendy's House won’t disappoint. 🍷❤️

This wine shop could not be cuter. You can taste several different wines in 1, 3, and 5 oz pours from the machines, or buy a bottle to enjoy (or take home). They will cork it if you don’t finish it. Super cozy patio and adorable inside with many different places to sit and enjoy conversation. Several snacks, meats, cheeses, crackers, chocolates available to build your own board. Excited to go back soon!

Cute little cafe. Perfect for book clubs or a more refined girls' day out! They have cards you load money onto and you may pay per glass or by the bottle. Charcuterie items are for sale as well.

I have been to Wendy’s two times and both visits were great. The first time I sat inside with my 87 year old mom and we enjoyed several different tastes from the machines. I love being able to try before you commit but her offerings are all very good. I went back with a friend and sat outside the second visit and was once again delighted. The little food choices are fun and delicious and reasonably priced. Perfect place for a date, to meet a friend or just sit and read. Looking forward to going back.

I went in just looking to grab some items for a girls night- utterly clueless about wine. Both the Lady and Gentlemen at the front counter were very helpful, kind, and patient with me as I was finding what I would like. You can tell they are passionate about wine and very knowledgeable! Great environment as well, will most definitely be coming back with friends!
