Food is always great! Fresh twist on your expected dishes and new ones that will definitely impress. The atmosphere gets very loud if you choose inside. Outdoor seating is best weather permitting.

Zocalo is hands-down one of the best spots in Wilmington! The vibe is lively without being overwhelming, and the service is always on point—friendly, fast, and attentive. The food? Absolutely incredible. You can tell everything is made fresh, with bold flavors and thoughtful presentation. The tacos are next-level (highly recommend the birria), and their cocktails are just as impressive—especially the house margarita. Whether you’re going for a casual dinner or a night out with friends, Zocalo delivers every time. Definitely a must-visit if you're in the area!

Great authentic food with really incredible drinks. Highly recommend the mojitos!! Btw the medium margarita is huge.

This was our second experience at this location. We walked in at lunchtime, and we're immediately seated. The staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The decor is very nice and decorative for the foods origins. The food, however, was good but not good in an exciting way. In fact, I needed to add something to one of my items because it was bland and dry. I had an enchilada, a burrito, and a gordita. The Burrito was no larger than the enchilada, which led me to believe my order was wrong. I will give it another try. The salsa and chips were amazing.
