Crab Du Jour Cajun Seafood & Bar

Crab bisque was obviously put in a bowl and heated in a microwave. Bowl scalding hot but soup barely luke warm. Got the crawfish. Frozen and thrown in a bag with seasoning and boiled or steamed in the bag. Taste rubbery and fishy. Also got 2 pieces of fried trout. Again must be frozen from Costco and then thrown in the fryer. Does any restaurant actually cook anymore? Only plus was the waitress who was bright and bubbly and attentive. It’s no wonder the parking lot is bare every time I pass by. Will never visit again.

I went during the snowmageddon. Few were there. I ordered a large amount. They brought it out in a large metal dragon tray. It looked impressive. Should have supplied a lid to go with it. By the time I got towards the end, all my food was cold. Only one real waitress. So I had to get up to get my drink refilled. I don’t blame the waitress, she had many at the bar to attend. I blame the girl at the door. She couldn’t be bothered from her phone.

I came here tonight with my wife and a friend, and let me tell you... Don't bother to come here. The waitress did okay; she wasn't really on top of taking care of our table. Our drinks were luke warm to hot, and either watered down or too strong. The coldest drink we had were our waters. The fries were served cold, fish over cooked, the food was under seaeoned, and they didn't even have the proper utensils to crack open the crab legs and get crab out of the shell. Some of the waiters didn't know how to answer questions about things on the meals (or lack of what's not on the menu). One waiter didn't even know what a surf and turf was when I asked if they offered it. Since our waitress didn't get our used plates, we put them on the table beside us to move them out of the way to give us more room. The waiter didn't even take the paper off the table and wipe it down. We told him about us having to do that, and he just waved. We told another waiter what we had to do. And they turned the paper that had our food on it to the other side, so we had another waiter to actually clean the table. Also, the bathroom were nasty and not properly cleaned. They even have Christmas decor up even though its March. They just don't care for their establishment. Don't bother to come here. Don't waste your money. Just go to the beach to get fresh seafood, it's only 2 hours away. It's not worth what I paid for, and I highly recommend to good anywhere else. Even McDonald's.

Someone needs to have a talk with a particular server about how loud she speaks because I think it’s extremely unprofessional to speak and scream at your coworkers calling them thieves while there’s customers in the building it's very unwelcoming and rude even if it is nearing closing time.

Well well well. For starters get whatever drain that smells like poop fixed. Then get a scale … I purchased a pound of crab legs and those were the littlest nothing I’ve ever seen. You’ll do beater going to Harris teeter and have them to steam and season a real pound for under 25. None of their food comes out the correct weight. The calamari is fake because they are all the same size and extremely rubber. I’ll never come back and I’ll telling everyone I know to not come.

The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve negative 5. Although the server was there, we had to ask for utensils, knapkins seemed like thin toilet paper sheets. Our crab cake, shrimp, and flounder were completely tasteless. The French fries only tasted of the cayenne dust, the kitchen had dristled over them. They had posted a rolled up picture of a mixed drink on the wall at our table. Tacky. The server had the nerve to refer to us as "you guys". As I consider myself a Lady and rather well behaved, the server may consider other professions. The table was covered by a paper sheet, rather tacky.

My mom and I ask for a shrimp and fish basket we were served with a shrimp basket instead the waitress suggested that they could add fish to our basket about 10 minutes later she came back and said her manager could add two fish to our plate but had to remove 4 shrimps poor customer service but food was very good.

Fun atmosphere and an even more jovial staff! The menu had plenty offerings and the food was delicious. Would recommend for family and friends to enjoy a good meal!

The food was excellent. Had grilled shrimp with rice and vegetables appetizers were the jalapeno poppers, chowder and calamari. Service was excellent and our server was so helpful and was so friendly to talk to

My husband and I went yesterday for the first time, and the food and service was amazing. Kayla was our server and she so great. She took care of us without being overwhelming, she is also a very sweet young lady. The food was just as good as the service. The restaurant itself is a relaxed atmosphere, you can just dig in with your hands and enjoy. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we went back again today!!
