“The boss and I went after church today. I got the BBQ ribs and the boss got fried shrimp. The ribs were fall off the bones good and the shrimp were delicious. Excellent hush puppies. This is definitely a go after church place for us now!”

“A large home converted to a wonderful restaurant. Theme rooms containing three to five tables each. Great food.Parking: Large open parking on the house property.Kid-friendliness: The most kid friendly restaurant. They have a special high-tea for parent and daughter, with a dress up room. For adults, each room has a theme and contains only a few tables.”

“We had an amazing apertivo on the terrace last night; the Dr. Pepper steak tips and fried onions, the bang-bang shrimp, the brussel sprouts, and the pretzels and beer cheese all were amazing!!! The other night we had the dagwood with aioli and the tri tip sandwich with chips and it was phenomenal take out. Highly recommend and to top it off this is all in a gorgeous location.”

Immersive and natural with indoor and outdoor seating, this location recently underwent renovations for a clean boathouse look. Amazing pizzas, great salads, second-to-none wine selection for the area and fun specials, super kind staff, and more. Kayak up to the dock, stop over after a tennis or golf match, host a party, or take out to watch the game. “What a fun find! We were looking for a lunch stop on our road trip and this did not disappoint! Delicious fresh sandwiches made to order and piled high with Boars Head meat. Fresh lemonade and limeade ( although it was a bit on the sweet side) and ice cream too! Fun atmosphere with a garden center next door. We will definitely be back!”

“I worked w/ Miss Jen @ Carolina Moon Bakery to make a cake for a business function @ Tarheel Fireplace & Grill Shop. I asked for a cake that “represents”. They did such a great job! The chocolate cake was dang skippy delicious (almost had a slight fudgey quality?)and the presentation was awesome. It was like ‘cake’ and ‘art’ had a baby. Love this local business. . “Visiting my mother, I thought it would be nice to spare her the production of making a meal, by stopping in and picking up her favorites. Fantastic! Food was delicious, and the bbq spare ribs top notch. The young lady at the register was very nice and hustling around like a whirlwind. If you are looking for old school Chinese take out give them look.”

“It's good pizza with a great price, and they throw a case of the greasy squirts in free. So ladies and gentlemen, bring your own roll of toilet paper or be prepared to sacrifice your sock. I would take this ride again.”

“Have been twice, both times for the oysters and both times the food was great! I've tasted 252's oysters fried, raw, and steamed, and all were delicious. Same waitress both times, I wish I could remember her name...sweet, attentive, and knowledgeable. It's the first time I've ever been asked, "Would you like the fried oysters cooked hard or soft?" and " Would you like the cocktail sauce warm or cold?" It's a great place!”

“We ate there 2 days in a row. On the 1st day, we had the buffet. Both of us had fried chicken, bbq, candied yams, mac and cheese. The next night, we ordered from the menu and had dried shrimp, ff's, cole slaw, and hush puppies.Parking: There is plenty of parking available for everyone extra large lot”

“A small place where you can relax have a drink both alcoholic and non acholic kind. They have live bands karaoke and comedy shows with an occasional axe throwing competition. Corn hull in the back balcony. A cool place if you want to just get out with other adults.”

“Quality of vegetables and meats were good place is clean. Price are much higher than a year ago since they keep changing there menu and taken good things away like sweet peppers.”

“Preordered using the mobile app. Asked them to go ahead and prepare before I arrived. When I told them I was there they asked me to pull forward to the window. Once at the window I heard them say that’s not the right one and they are at the window. I was asked to pull forward without even getting my drinks first. About five minutes later they brought out my order and then went back to get my drinks. Not my best experience there, but everyone has an off day.”

“What can you say about McDonald's it's the only pace I will buy breakfast when it comes to restaurants consistency is everything and McDonald's does a better job than probably than any other fast food restaurant majority of the time whatever restaurant you go to the food is always consistent north south east or west that's why McDonald's rules the fast food roost”
