Best service call your order in if you already know what you like to order. Otherwise you may have to wait a little bit if you walk in and place your order. But it's worth the wait. “Just tried Taylor's Oak for the first time and boy we were not disappointed. I had the hamburger steak and my friend had the fried shrimp. Both were excellent! But that doesn't even compare to the cheesecake. Freshly made and delicious. The service was wonderful and we can't wait to go back again.”

“Not many places in this area that offer Chinese food. Hungry Panda is the best in the OBX area and the cleanest with a 99 rating by the County Health Department. Portions are plentiful and flavorful. We enjoyed the complementary Fortune Cookies and purchased Almond Cookies for our late night snack attack. Great place to come for a local Asian cuisine.Parking: Parking is conveniently located directly in front of the building and on the side.”

“Great food, chicken and shrimp etouffee, and shrimp po'boy were amazing. The service and restaurant were fantastic. Busy but no weight. Other customers sitting at the bar all were friendly and great company for strangers. Meet some regulars that are there every Friday. This speaks for the fact that locals come there every week.”

“First time experience with Thai food and I can't say anything but how amazing this food was. I ordered the Massaman Curry with shrimp and Bacon Pineapple Fried Rice as well as the mango sticky rice. The food was excellent, came out hot, excellent ingredients and great portions. Clean restaurant and speedy service. I can't wait to come back to try everything on the menu.”

“Got a flight of a few different beers. I enjoyed everyone of them...one or two more then the others. Decided on a pint of a hazy beer that they made. The bartender was sweet and friendly. I had to ask how to pronounce the name of the bar... wasn't quite sure what to think of the name as it was something very personal to only the owner and could not relate. However it was a charming small brewery and I enjoyed the fact that you could see the brewery and the stills. The mosquitoes got the best of us towards the end while we were sitting outside on the patio. We'll be back.”

Asked the bartender a few (3 to be exact) questions while trying to decide (1st time in) & was met with impatience, even though the only people waiting to order were with me. “I had a frozen lime margarita, which is always great. For dinner I ordered a azteca burrito, it had steak, chicken, shrimp and sauteed green peppers, onions and that's all. The top was laced with cheese sauce, as well as a red enchilada and Verde sauce. This was absolutely delicious ? Give Mi Cancun a try, I guarantee you will be very pleased, with the food, the atmosphere and the staff. Thank you for a wonderful time.”

I am looking forward to visiting in the warmer months. My only issue was the lack of seasoning but it won’t stop me from going back. Pasta was fresh and amazing. Looking forward to another meal.”

“I have Dined in a few times, food and service was great ! There is a server there , I believe it's Alexis that is EXCEPTIONAL. she's usually the only server and she does a great job handling her customers. The owner and cook are also very friendly! Only thing I have noticed is that the cook sometimes speaks to the servers really rude! But besides that it's a good place to go and enjoy some home cooked food”

“The Jamaican Jerk Pizza is Amazing. Very spicy if you like that and the Greek Chicken Souvlaki Salad is so fresh with a homemade oil and vinegar seasoned dressing. The salad has fresh ingredients and large chunks of white meat chicken! I was extremely impressed!”

“I love love love this spot. Been taking the kids here for many years. It's honestly my favorite froyo place I've ever been. Reasonably priced cups with all the topping you want included. The cheesecake bites are my favorite. Variety of froyo flavors too- I sometimes even mix my yogurt flavors. It's all self serve so you can make whatever masterpiece you desire and pay for the cup size. Great deal, great quality and the ambience inside and out is chill and welcoming. Great dessert stop!”

“It was my family's first visit we had cheese curds that were fried just right! My husband and grandson had cheeseburgers and friesand I had a wedge salad that was exceptionally good! However my son had chicken fingers that were overcooked, I should have sent them back,but it took a while to get our food and it was getting close to closing time.I think the wattress we had made our experience a great one!This was St.Pattysday night.”
