Really great little spot, conveniently located next to the brewery and concertish venue. Open later than most and very accommodating to our late night party. Friendly staff, nice owner ( I assume owner from their managing type presence ) and very kind to us asking for some extra tortillas past close. Give them your business ! Great location and place to drink and people watch.

Arrived early with a friend . I wasn't hungry but tried a drink special (which I normally never do for reasons most should know) I believe it had pomegranate in it. The server was also the bartender in training and she was helpful and I'd a good job under the supervision of what may have been the mgr that day. I tried the fish which we were told was cod. I believe the dish was initially a taco but the presented it as a bowl as requested. I would say it was ample. I tasted the fish and was very pleasantly surprised at how delectable it was in every way. The decor had me wondering if "The Porch " and this establishment were owned by the same people. This is not the kind of fare or place I usually seek but I would return again to find a dish on the menu that may be a shining star for me to review. I believe this place ; at least for now deserves a visit from anyone.

Great spot for a date or meet up with friends. Has taco Tuesday, drinks, etc. Right in the heart of Winston Salem. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Has indoor and plenty of outdoor seating.

I was honestly having a really bad day and we decided to try a new spot. Our food was very good but it was our waiter, Jack that made our experience amazing. I have gluten intolerance and Jack was thorough about telling me what was safe but also how he could possibly accommodate me further. It seriously made my day brighter that he cared enough to do that. He also was great at providing recommendations! I would 1010% come again. It’s been so hard for me personally to find restaurants that even care about their customers with food intolerance and allergens but we were asked after our drink orders. It’s the little things truly

Some of the worst service I’ve had in a while. The wait staff - which included one guy - was more concerned with his phone than customer service. He didn’t greet us as we walked in. He only said something after we stood awkwardly for a few minutes. He then brought over waters and never asked if we wanted anything else to drink, though we should have been happy with the water because once it was gone we never received anything to drink the rest of our meals. He took our order, and only came back again to deliver food. The three meals all came out separately with about 10 mins in between, which made for an awkward group lunch. After the last meal was delivered he never came back. We tried multiple times to get his attention but had no luck. The food was very expensive for this level of service. He also served me scolding hot flautas and didn’t warn me, which left me with a burnt finger. Tulum is a much better option; and my coworkers and I agreed we would not revisit!

Incredibly rude, whether you are on a personal call or work related, if you aren’t servicing, then you shouldn’t be on the floor, furthermore they should have someone in the kitchen, behind the bar, and waitressing to avoid issues like these, as clearly they were short staffed from the looks of it.

We got the birria empanadas and blackberry margaritas—all great, but nearly $50 for two drinks and one appetizer. The atmosphere was terrible—incredibly loud music and an employee yelling in the dining area trying to converse with other employees. Couldn’t enjoy our dinner or have our own conversation. The water also tasted like it came straight from Salem lake. Food was good but incredibly overpriced and we wouldn’t return. Came with the intent to eat dinner and left as soon as we finished our drinks and appetizer.

The OG Alma is back! The past few years were a little rocky, but we gave the restaurant another shot after they released the new menu. Food was fantastic and the menu options are back to more "original" Alma favorites. We will be putting Alma back on our dining out rotation.
