I just love the industrial and coal pit vibe of all the stores in this area. Anchor coffee fits right in. Great ambiance and staff. I tried the seasonal candy cane (Peppermint dark Choc latte) and Husben had the vanilla latte. Great place to bring your laptop, pet, or take it for a downtown walk. Flavors were very good but I will say the lattes were not very strong, neither of us had a good caffeine buzz, maybe just one shot espresso? Visited Anchor coffee for the first time yesterday and have to say the customer service was great and I loved the ambiance. I’m taking off one star because I was constantly pestered with some sort of fruit flies and ended up having to toss my entire streusel muffin that I’d only gotten one bite of (which was AMAZING by the way) because these fruit flies were on it the minute I opened the tin.
