By far the best local restaurant in Winston. The chicken n’ dumplings on Monday are by far the best in the state. The owner is super sweet and friendly also. Stop by give them a try you won’t regret it.

Café Arthur's is a typical American diner serving standard fare with great service and great pricing. The restaurant is noted for being exceptionally clean. For breakfast, the classic eggs Benedict is spot on, and the breakfast special with French toast, bacon, and eggs is a good meal. The French toast is really good and cooked well, and the bacon is thick and crispy. It is also a favorite omelet spot, and the grits are very good.
For lunch or dinner, the portions are good and plenty. The Sweet Southern Burger is to die for and delicious. The kids meal burger with homemade chips is excellent. The flounder and shrimp special is on point and considered the best fried seafood. The Marinated Chicken Kabob dinner and the 10oz Chopped Steak dinner, often with brocolli casserole, mashed potatoes, or a salad, are delicious. The grilled pork chops are moist and tender, and the grilled sweet potato with butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon is well cooked and flavorful. Spaghetti is also available. Sides like corn bread and homemade chips are excellent. For dessert, the blueberry bread pudding topped with custard is to die for. Iced tea is just right, not too sweet. The overall experience is pleasant, with friendly and happy staff, making it a highly recommended spot.
