It's a decently small place but the gelato is amazing and flavorful. First time I went, I already wanted to go back. Not to mention it has some lovely shops surrounding it if you'd rather walk around with your gelato!
After shopping downtown WS yesterday, we decided to stop here as it was hotter than molasses! We were very lucky to get a parking spot near Cafe Gelato. We walked inside and were greeted by Ben! Ben was very friendly, welcoming and friendly. My daughter and I asked for a sample of the nutella and pistachio. They were delicious and refreshing. I ordered the nutella and my daughter had the pistachio. This was a perfect treat for a very hot day! Looking forward to coming...
Highly rated in Winston Salem but doesn’t live up to the hype. There was a very limited selection of flavors (only 8). The portions were also very small considering the high price. The flavors themselves were not bad but nothing noteworthy, but the texture was smooth. If you’re looking for some decent gelato/sorbet, a small cozy little place, and some friendly staff, this is the place to be!
