This is a hidden gem in the heart of town that serves exceptional, authentic Italian food and desserts at reasonable prices. I really enjoyed their lemoncello cake and tiramisu. I genuinely felt like I was in the “old country” with my paisans with the comfortable family owned setting. Highly recommend.

For an Italian place in North Carolina, it’s actually pretty good, especially the pastry section. The food is an adaptation, but it’s not bad at all. We had eggplant Parmesan, a focaccia, and an aragostela.

I recommend it if you are any to haw a TASTE of real Italy!

We’d love it if it had an outdoor terrace so we could be there with the dogs.

Dioli’s Italian Market is one of those rare spots that never misses. I keep going back for the homemade cookies — the peanut butter is ridiculous, the amaretto chocolate chip is elite, and the iced ginger + decorated sugar cookies are the kind you “accidentally” eat three of.

Stopped in today for a roast beef sandwich and it was perfect — fresh, stacked, zero fuss. Last week’s lasagna? Same story. Consistent, comforting, and absolutely worth the...
