Not only did they have an amazing and delicious selection, but the staff member was so helpful in assisting us with some dietary restrictions and allergies. I can't say enough nice things! She was simply delightful! We will definitely be back!
I live in VA and my brother in Winston-Salem NC so I am not familiar with bakeries in the area. I googled cupcake bakery specifically with buttercream frosting and specific flavors for a surprise 60th birthday lunch for my brother.. Gigi Bakery indicated it had both, so I took a chance. I am very much a snob on my buttercream. When I arrived, the staff was amazing and friendly and I am sorry I dont remember their name to give them a shout out. The icing is gritty.The cupcakes tasted like they had been taken straight from the freezer. We left them for a couple of hours and tried again, and they were better tasting. But the icing was still gritty.I've tried them twice, and both times, the icing had the texture of unmelted sugar.Service was fantastic, everyone is super kind and the shop is adorable.
