The frosting is just like a cement, glob of sugar. After letting it sit out for hours, the cupcake was still dense and thick. I’ve come here 3 different times, and it has been disappointing each time. Flavorless, overpriced, and too sugary. It’s honestly disgusting, which is sad, because I would love to support this small business.

Frosting was hard like it just came out the freezer. Way too much frosting for one cupcake. They put 1 tier then add sugar crystals and then add another tier! I’m all for satisfying a sweet tooth but this is too much! I got diabetes just looking at the goop I scraped off. Sad I couldn’t enjoy eating this. How are these people still in business selling these dressed up globs of sugar!
The only reason they get a star is because the actual cake was moist.
$10.00 down the drain.
My first and LAST time there! Never again!

These cupcakes are so good. Moist rich and flavorful. I ordered the strawberry shortcake, wedding cake, birthday cake, and yellow with chocolate frosting. They all were good. (I only took one bite of each lol). My favorite yellow cake with chocolate frosting. I have a new bakery for my guilty pleasure of cupcakes. Thank you I’ll be seeing you.

Yesterday on a whim I ordered a dozen cupcakes and when I tell you they are to die for, I mean it!! They were so so good. Everyone who had one at the party said they were delicious! My husband and I both said we never want grocery store cupcakes again!! Gigi’s is where it’s at! I know some think the price may be a little high, but the cupcakes are bigger than any cupcake you’re getting at the store plus as good as it is I definitely think they are worth the price.

I ordered cupcakes and cheesecakes for my daughter's wedding. They were decorated so beautiful and they all were so fresh and delicious. The staff were so friendly and easy to work with. I highly reccomend Gi Gi's bakery and I will be ordering from them again.

Super friendly place, counter service guy was very sweet. Cupcake was delicious! The icing isn’t too sweet like other places can be. I got chocolate chip cupcake.

The icing is gritty.The cupcakes tasted like they had been taken straight from the freezer. We left them for a couple of hours and tried again, and they were better tasting. But the icing was still gritty.I've tried them twice, and both times, the icing had the texture of unmelted sugar.Service was fantastic, everyone is super kind and the shop is adorable.

Not only did they have an amazing and delicious selection, but the staff member was so helpful in assisting us with some dietary restrictions and allergies. I can't say enough nice things! She was simply delightful! We will definitely be back!

I live in VA and my brother in Winston-Salem NC so I am not familiar with bakeries in the area. I googled cupcake bakery specifically with buttercream frosting and specific flavors for a surprise 60th birthday lunch for my brother.. Gigi Bakery indicated it had both, so I took a chance. I am very much a snob on my buttercream. When I arrived, the staff was amazing and friendly and I am sorry I dont remember their name to give them a shout out. My order was ready when I requested. The cupcakes were beautiful and tasted heavenly. The cake part was moist and flavorful. The buttercream was creamy and not to sweet. Some people thought it was too much frosting, but I am a frosting person, so not for me. I can wait to have them again. !!! Wish I had taken better pics of them, but I was too busy eating them.
