I had no idea this place has been around for 3 years. This food is absolutely delicious!! I enjoyed the chicken patty ( yum), the jerk chicken ( tender, juicy, and plentiful), the rice and beans and cabbage( very tasty). Everything was seasoned to perfection ( not salty) and though I really like spicy foods, it was not. That’s why I had to use my own spicy hot sauce because I can’t eat without it. Based on the reviews, Irie Plates Restaurant & Bar offers authentic Jamaican food with a great atmosphere and wonderful Jamaican sounds. The food is absolutely delicious and seasoned to perfection. Specific meals include the best brown stew fish, jerk chicken that is tender, juicy, and plentiful, oxtails seasoned to perfection, and a tasty chicken patty, rice and beans, and cabbage. The rum punch is also served while waiting. The service is awesome, and the entire staff is pleasant and friendly. The restaurant is clean and very inviting. The only complaint is a long wait for dining in, but the food is worth the wait as everything is fresh. Prices are worth it for the amount of food. This place is amazing and a favorite spot.
