Waiter was great, the fried green tomatoes were so good, and the duck special was fantastic! They have live jazz on Sundays but it was at a pleasant volume, very enjoyable. A terrific experience, as always.
We and our guest were extremely satisfied with our main courses. There was a smidgeon of disappointment with the desserts, however! Pecan pie and New York cheesecake seemed of slightly lower caliber (not creamy enough). Otherwise, however, the wait staff and personnel, the overall service, and generally everything about the meal was wonderful!
I noted on the reservation that this was a birthday. No one ever mentioned it. We were seated in a booth right by an outside door and also a private room that had an extremely loud party in it. The host came by and apologized that the outside door would have to be open to let someone in in a wheelchair because they couldn't open the door in the private room. That of course was fine, but then what actually happened was that someone was banging on the outside door trying to...
