All four of our entrees - shrimp & grits (one of the best I've had), tomato pie, hamburger, pork roast - were delicious and filling. The service was outstanding, and the hostess was a pleasure to deal with. Dairy products are from the renowned Homeland Creamery. Highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our last minute lunch. We weren’t able to make a reservation, but the hostess graciously offered to see us at the bar. And that time another table became available and she sat there instead. My friend and I had a delicious meal of the southern eggrolls… I would say they don’t look as good as they taste, but they were delicious. Then I had a spring bowl with fried tofu on top, and a delicious green goddess type dressing. My friend had that southern meatloaf with collard greens and she loved that as well. The atmosphere is fresh and fun, with peppy lime green chairs, as well as fun bistro meets mid century modern café.

We were in Winston Salem for the conclusion of a six-city college tour with our daughter. This restaurant was the highlight. The tomato pie and fried chicken were perfect. The wine list was excellent. Our server was Alex and his recommendations and service were spot-on. If we are ever in Winston Salem again, this will be our spot. Highly recommend!

In an extended celebration of our wedding anniversary, my husband and I decided to go to Mozelle's for dinner. However, we switched our dining option to take out once we realized at 8 the restaurant would be closing at 9. We were assured it would be okay to dine in and we wouldn't have to rush, but we didn't want to take a chance. I gave the restaurant 1 star for the food because we ordered the modern meatloaf served with spicy collard greens and cheesy grits. The entree that was supposed to be meatloaf was a plain, unseasoned hamburger pattie (over cooked). My husband has to eat soft foods due to dental issues. The tomato marmalade looked like someone just scooped a small amount of diced tomatoes into a condiment container. I was truly disappointed in the false advertising that this restaurant served meatloaf. For myself, I ordered the Atlantic Salmon served with coconut curry sauce, cheese grits, and arugula. The coconut curry sauce did not taste much like coconut. We also ordered a sunny salad which was supposed to be served with a miso-lemon dressing. The dressing was a lump of dressing. It wasn't smooth and creamy as expected. It was a very disappointing dining experience. Most of all, I was truly disappointed for my husband. There wasn't any pork or havarti mixed in. It was unacceptable. I called the next day to speak to the manager. I cannot imagine why the person who answered the phone wanted to know what my call was about. They put me on hold and never returned. After 5 minutes I hung up. Very, very, unprofessional. Two minutes is a long time and when individuals are working in a customer service role, providing good quality customer service goes a long way. My husband and I do not live locally so this was not a situation in which we could have returned to the restaurant. I would never have left a tip had I known what had been packaged in our take out trays. We also ordered dessert which was mediocre. I expected much better than what we received.

Although I am not a fan of the closeness of tables, the space is warm and inviting. I had the green chile pork bowl with two poached eggs. The pork was not visually appealing and the green chiles sauce had a strong aroma that I was not very fond of. But when I mixed everything together... the taste was amazing. The pork was super tender and the grits were yummy delicious. Solid dish.

A small place but has plenty of seating because of the outdoor tables. We sat at the bar and we were able to see everything being cooked. Wife had fried chicken which she said was good. I had the fish of the day on top of vodka pasta. Fish was perfect.

Food was fantastic! We had ordered the beef short rib and their special of the evening; wahoo with orzo, arugula, and sun dried tomatoes. For dessert, our waitress recommended the bourbon pecan bread pudding; it was amazing! Highly recommend!

We had no reservations, and they kinda made a big deal out of looking to see if they could seat us. As if they were fully booked on a Tuesday in February at 11 am. They weren't lucky for us. :/ The food was okay. I wasn't impressed with the grits, and shrimp, nothing special. The tomato pie was pretty good and different. The tomato soup, and pimento cheese sandwich was okay nothing stand out. We would have ordered adult drinks but because they acted weird about seating us we felt rushed and uncomfortable, so we left and had drinks at Foothills.
