I eat here as often as I can. It’s quick, the staff are friendly. The portion of the bowls are perfect (although I can’t always eat it all), and the food is just so good.

One of my favorites in Winston! I love how you can customize your bowl to suit your taste. They always offer a generous portion and have very fresh tasting bowls! I’ve started coming here weekly-it’s that good, highly recommend!!

Expensive and protien portion size is small.

Delicious, convenient, and affordable! I had no idea it was even there, but I looked over when sitting at a stop light on Hanes Mall Blvd, and decided to give it a try. Zero regrets!

I don’t know why I haven’t tried Poke Star sooner! It was fresh, delicious and exactly what I wanted. Definitely make it a regular on your restaurant rotation!

The rice was warm, which was an odd clash with everything else being cold. Not very generous with sauces, or with the additions to the rice. Not very good honestly.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the poke bowl concept, they are best described as deconstructed sushi. We have ordered carry-out several times, but ate in for the first time recently. Everything is out and visible for you to choose from. Everything is super fresh and best of all, anything with gluten is clearly marked, making it a perfect place for those needing gluten-free options.

Allow me to preface this with I lived in hawaii for almost 9 years so I know what a poke bowl is supposed to be, and this is not it. I ordered the spicy tuna in my bowl and my partner ordered spicy salmon. Both of us received plain fish in our bowls. Additionally there was so little of it I could count the pieces, there were 11. I have never in my life paid so much for so little fish($16+ tax). If I could rate 0 stars I would. I mean seriously there wasn't even enough rice to fill the bottom of the bowl, it was almost all vegetables and wonton chips. I could go on and on, for example I asked for both green and sweet onions, got maybe 3 slivers of green onion and a whole 1/2 cup of sweet onions. Overall the worst poke bowl I have ever had, they jam it full of the cheap stuff so there's no room for what you've actually paid for.

This place is always amazing. The service is quick and prompt. The food is always magnificent and the service is spectacular. In convinced they can make my order without even asking what it is because I go here so often. One of my favorite places to grab lunch in the city! Vegetarians, there’s options for you here and good ones!

Great food, the fish seems to be very fresh. I get the spicy tuna and salmon. I like how quick it is and feel that the price is reasonable. I always get it to go.

I’m happy that there’s a place with delicious poke in the area! I usually get half & half with shrimp and salmon - it’s so fresh and delish. The portion size is enough to fill you up without leaving you too stuffed.
