Best coffee shop in Winston, hands down! Kindest + most personable baristas, perfectly extracted coffee–and they even made me a matcha person, which I swore would never happen. If you love coffee + community, this is your place!

We ordered a Cappuccino with an extra shot, it tasted very watered down, and an iced vanilla latte which was decent. The cafe was very hot and the barista was very quiet. Overall, it was very clean and cute, but the coffee was just not to our tastes.

Reminiscent of coffee shops in Chicago--minimalst decor, indie music, uniquely flavored lattes, dogs

It's so bright and clean I side, the cookie was delicious and the matcha latte was available with oatmilk.Parking: Parking is the lot behind the corner building that Sayso is housed in.

The manager helped save my life today. I was trying to sell a litter of kittens, but I was trapped in a burning building fire and I was bleeding out badly. He found me, and gave me a blood transfusion. He also donated 4 of his kidneys and helped me find homes for the litter of kittens, and then he managed to find world peace and end world hunger through his amazing cup of coffee at Sayso.Winston Salem people need to visit on a regular basis.

It was my first time there and I had a gift card for a latte and it was great. The gentleman that made it for me was very nice too. I would definitely go there again.

Just discovered this place! Best oatmilk vanilla latte I've had in a long time. Will definitely be back. I wish the hours of operation were a bit longer. Staff was friendly too.

Always a good experience when I come in, coffee is excellent and the selection of beans is great, I’ve found some great roasters via sayso, fun to try new things. Pastries are always excellent as well.Kid-friendliness: Love to bring games and play with my kids!

Another quaint but real coffee shop in Winston that knows coffee! Spacious and great for those WFH folks and meet up with friends or just wanna get you a cup by yourself . Few seats and tables outdoors too. They know a bit about coffee I'd say from our server when we ordered. Small basic menu but has the solid stuff you always order. Some seasonal specials. Little section of baked goods . Probably low the day we went as it was a holiday technically. Bobby Boys bake shop supplies them . So there ya go! You know you'll get a great croissant! We had the chocolate croissant and as always it never disappoints. My cappuccino was full on strong and made with almond milk . Nice and frothy. My friend ordered a drink I'd never seen before. Flash brew . Their alternate to cold brew. Not as acidic as cold brew he told us but she liked it . Said it wasn't like cold brew but still good . It's a nice minimalistic space but serves its purpose. Nice to see it busy.

I am so sad I forgot to photograph my lovely cortado, AND this place was so good I'll be back! Met a friend for some coffee this morning and I was struck by how much light was in this place! The decor was also clean and bright; it was a Thursday morning around 10 so not very busy inside, but a steady flow of people through the shop. My cortado was well made and a lovely balance of creamy and bitter: SaySo is also dog friendly, as my friend brought her pooch. I'll definitely be back and add a photo next time: I was so caffeine deprived at the moment I was right to sipping!

Great coffee and a selection of baked goods to go with it. Lots of space to chat or work.

I was so glad to find this spot. The staff were great, making sure I was happy, in spite of a minor issue with their grinder that made my pour over take a few minutes longer. It was well worth the wait. The scone by Elderflower bakery was amazing. The coffee was delicious. The barista answered all my questions. I left with a bag of coffee.

The scone was perfect. The pour over coffee was amazing. The staff made certain I was happy due to a momentary issue with their grinder. The shop is clean with a bright and minimalist aesthetician. Plenty of seating and within walking distance of historic downtown.
