If you were born anywhere in North Carolina, most likely you have probably heard of RJ Reynolds at some point in your life. Well 600 is an excellent way to step back in history in a luxurious way to see what a powerhouse this building was in the 1920’s. The establishment here was beautifully designed and the craftsmanship in every dish I had was phenomenal. I had their featured fish of the day called “Sable Fish”. Member of the black cod family than I personally thought was better than Chilean seabass. Now that’s saying a lot of you like Chilean seabass as much as I do. Do yourself a favor and give this beautiful establishment a try.

First I love the essence of the area. It's cool. New. Chic. Artsy and lively. So the location is prime. When you walk in you're greeted by pretty faces with pretty smiles polite greetings ensue. We were shown to our table. There's a seizable bar to the left and an open kitchen area to the right. I enjoyed both open air spaces, inviting your gaze in. The staff are hip, cool kids, guys and gals with fashion and edge. The dining room is great. What looks like original concrete slab walls, demoed with wood, a creative modern warehouse vibe with class and attitude. (see photos). The service was excellent. Cory did a great job at delivering with confidence the features and this menus options. From appetizer to desert. Quality guy. I appreciate him. We ordered the Brussels sprouts off the sides menu for our appetizer, along with benne rolls. They smacked. HaRd.. for dinner the Ribeye.. it was cooked Perfectly. The garlic herb butter with it was spectacular. Truffle fries on the side. Very good. Recommend. I had the market fish. It was a Fluke if I remember correctly. The golden bears were a nice treat and the carrots gave it a great texture base. The sauce was delicious. For desert we had the iron cast chocolate chip cookie. With ice cream. It is the least of the fancy but honestly it was pretty darn good. So, well done kitchen staff and thank you for the treats. The bar. We ordered dirty martini with some extra olives. Not our favorite. Very Pond Water like.. Neither was the four dollars for extra olives but hey, squeeze the orange right. We also had a Margarita on the rocks, it was solid. Well done on that one. They boast a WIDE selection of whiskeys, I had an old favorite and it was pleasant. Great pour, very proper. Thank you. Overall, I think 600 is a great place. Trendy, edgy, and FLAVORFUL.

We waited 10-15 for our reservation on a Saturday night, but were not in any way rushed through our 2+ hour seating for two, despite a full house. Staff all seemed impeccably tuned to service or at least very genial. Our server was thoroughly knowledgeable, charming, genuine. There wasn't a single thing on the menu I wouldn't have ordered, and my companion and I got out for just over $130 including tip, well fed and in great spirits. My only gripe was being seated in the far corner of the back dining room - it needs more ambience - table-specific lighting, or art... That room doesn't match the experience somehow. Next time I'll ask for the chef's counter I think.

I would have given 5 stars except for the dinner special fish entree had bones in every bite. Everything else was great. Val took great care of us at the bar. Our table wait staff was great as well.

600 degrees provides an elevated dining experience with wonderfully creative taste bud tingling dishes! They have great vegetarian options and I happen to be doing Keto at the moment and the chef came up with creative alternatives to chips for dipping! Simply AMAZING customer service and wonderful food. My meat eating hubby really enjoyed the salmon which was cooked to perfection. Our favorite side is the cauliflower, you MUST try it.

The restaurant is very pretty with a beautiful, big bar. The menu was diverse and fresh, and changes seasonally. Everyone enjoyed the experience and the food was good. My only suggestion would be more vegetarian options not based on mushroom or eggplant.

Food was very good! Apps and drinks were amazing and brought out very quickly and promptly. I don't know if the kitchen got backed up after that but it took a very long time for our entrees to be delivered to our table. Our dessert got comped due to this so was happy to see that but was very confused on what happened with the delay.

This was our 2nd visit! We celebrated Valentine’s Day this year and ordered the Pork Belly Burnt Ends for a appetizer. They had a special they were offering for Valentine’s Day, a 36 oz Tomahawk Steak with 2 sides and we added scallops. Oh my gosh! The best steak we have ever had! The scallops melted in your mouth and were so tender and full of flavor! The mashed potatoes were so creamy and flavorful and the Truffle fries are a must for me! I do not like truffles but these fries are amazing! Highly recommend and will be back to celebrate my husband’s birthday!

We just moved here a months ago, was told this was the place to go for my birthday! It was AMAZING! The staff were very attentive and kind. For your first experience I highly recommend the Culinary Bar, trust me!!

Second time I have been there and my steak was requested medium rare. Both times I've been it's been served almost raw. I asked for further cooking and it barely changed. Really disappointed in the quality of a $50 steak.

Super friendly staff from host to server! Dishes were mostly great, but the moody vibe at the front of the restaurant and at the bar did not carry to the back dining area where it was overlit and more stark. Our courteous and prompt server would benefit from more food and wine knowledge, too, to elevate the experience. That said, we will be back and had a lovely evening.

Way overpriced for what you get. Both meat items ordered were full of fat...we were still hungry when we left. $60 for short rib - no thanks. I can cook better at home. They acted like they didn't have our reservation even though I confirmed it days prior and I stated we were there for a special occasion but they did nothing to acknowledge that.

Excellent cocktails. Chose the golden beets la carte side as an appetizer, and it was fabulous. Entrees were amazing (market fish and Swedish meatballs). Every sauce in every dish was a work of art and so delicious. The wine list is extensive. Service superb). We will definitely be back. One thing- don't forget your readers- the menu type is small.

We loved everything, I recommend the salmon and I would ask for TYLINN , she was an amazing server , the ambience was romantic, perfect for our anniversary , the sticky toffee pudding was amazing and the truffle fries was my husbands fav.
