I had never been to this starbucks because of the parking. I had a meeting near by and decided to walk over for a much needed pick me up. The staff was friendly. I had the new Smores Frapp and it was really good. It is not coffee based but I did not mind that. They have odd hours but a lot of seating.
This is the only Starbucks located in the downtown Winston-Salem. It's inside the Embassy Suites and across from the street Convention Center. It's operated by the Embassy Suites so you can't use your Starbucks card and they don't have T-Mobile access. However, you can access the Embassy Suites free wi-fi network and you can get your free iTunes Song of the Day card.

Looks really good, I like the building a lot and the ability of campus to provide areas like this across. It looks really clean and well kept, students seem to be happy with it. Luckily for the franchise they're at the heart of their demographic, so that's good business.
