We had a really nice dinner. Food was excellent. Great family restaurant and a very, very kind owner who was INCREDIBLY nice to our boys. Showed them baseball cards and was very gracious. Awesome hospitality and we had a very kind waitress who was attentive and provided top-notch service. Highly recommend.

Let me just tell you something — I haven’t had meatloaf in a very long time… and now I’m mad I’ve been missing out.
I’m still dreaming about that meatloaf. The flavor? Criminal. The texture? Melt-in-your-mouth magic.
And don’t even get me started on the mac & cheese and mashed potatoes… it was like getting a warm hug from your childhood Sunday dinner.
It was so good, it made me want to slap my mama — twice.

We enjoyed a great family dinner at The Sherwood, as we have on many occasions. My husband and I both had braised, boneless short ribs with pan seared Brussels sprouts over red potatoes. Delicious!
