I decided to try here today. Nice place, it was busy. Went for lunch. I ordered the (2C) grilled steak on Kaiser bun with lettuce, tomato, Cheddar cheese & Mayo and a side of fries. Everything was served hot and fresh. The bread was fresh, The fries were crispy, and good. Service was friendly & good. Just a little slow but it was due to them being so busy.

We were visiting Winston Salem to do some antique shopping for my birthday and one of the shop owners told us about this place. There were all kinds of sandwiches and soups. I got the soup of the day, which was cauliflower and corn, I think. It was sooo tasty! The waitress suggested adding sirracha to it, and it totally made it. I got the special which was fried zucchini flowers stuffed with cheese on a BLT. Also, amazing! I'm not sure of the cheese inside the zucchini flower. It was soft and kind of ricotta-ish. I wish it had been goat cheese but it was still delicious. Our waitress was so friendly and had great suggestions. We really enjoyed it and will revisit next time we are in Winston! Thank you!

Consistent, good, friendly. Not fine dining, but I've still never had anything but a good experience, crowded or quiet, all day or dinner menu, old staff or new.
Vegetarian options: Burgers, a Reuben, generally an entree or two and some more. Check the menu online.
Parking: Lots on either side of the restaurant in the evening.

Took the family out for dinner and had a great meal. Fairly straight forward and I would say home cooked style menu. Wait staff were excellent with the kids, kept the meals moving, brought kids water cups right away, and were attentive and kind. The highlight was the desserts with lemon meringue and sprinkle cake.

Had only been there for lunch previously and liked it. We were there this time for dinner and LOVED it. My Wife had the pretzel encrusted Salmon salad which she loved. I had a rainbow trout that was absolutely amazing. Lemon Italian Cream Cake was also delicious. Ready to go back.
