This was our first visit to this long-standing restaurant. The menu selections were wide. I went with a classic Reuben, which was delicious. Corned beef was tender and flavorful. We got a dessert to go — coconut cake — which was some of the best we have ever had.
I have always loved West End
I have ordered the portabella sandwich for years- always my favorite
First time back in a while
Sliced portabella with 3 slices it had more red pepper and spinach than mushroom
Probably won’t be back for that again
Service was excellent as usual
Delicious and friendly staff
I have been a fan for over 20 years!
We eat here regularly! Everything is wonderful! The staff are great and very engaging! I got the shrimp Po Boy this time. The shrimp were fried to perfection. The pasta and potato salad was on point.
We were looking for a casual dining experience that also offers good food. Westin’s Cafe delivered plus some. I look forward to making it a frequent destination! Tha service was outstanding
Love this Cafe. Great Reubens (my favorite and outstanding Brunswick stew (on their specials- can call ahead or go online to see when there) Everything their is great! Can't say enough good about it.
I decided to try here today. Nice place, it was busy. Went for lunch. I ordered the (2C) grilled steak on Kaiser bun with lettuce, tomato, Cheddar cheese & Mayo and a side of fries. Everything was served hot and fresh. The bread was fresh, The fries were crispy, and good. Service was friendly & good. Just a little slow but it was due to them being so busy.

We were visiting Winston Salem to do some antique shopping for my birthday and one of the shop owners told us about this place. There were all kinds of sandwiches and soups. I got the soup of the day, which was cauliflower and corn, I think. It was sooo tasty! The waitress suggested adding sirracha to it, and it totally made it. I got the special which was fried zucchini flowers stuffed with cheese on a BLT. Also, amazing! I'm not sure of the cheese inside the zucchini flower. It was soft and kind of ricotta-ish. I wish it had been goat cheese but it was still delicious. Our waitress was so friendly and had great suggestions. We really enjoyed it and will revisit next time we are in Winston! Thank you!
