I normally enjoy going to Zoe’s with my sisters and has been OK with the service☺️. Yesterday me and my sister decide to go to Zoe‘s after I got off work upon arriving we was going to sit in and eat but my granddaughter called and said I need to come and pick her up so I told the waiter that I was going to do a takeout instead She was offended in my opinion and her whole demeanor change. I went on a paid for my order. they had given me water so I asked for a takeout cup and I will charge five cent for the cup which I think is not necessary so I asked a girl the cashier why did I have to pay five cent for the cup, just because I’m leaving she had attitude and asked me was I gonna leave a tip? I told her no I was not gonna leave a tip. The tip can be the cent they charge me for the cup. She left the register and went behind the counter, and told the Waitress what I said which I feel was unprofessional to do that in front of me since I said it, but I wasn’t ashamed of what I said so I asked to speak to a manager first they told me they didn’t have a manager and then some tall, Caucasian guy came up With an attitude accent, can he help me and I was trying to explain to him what happened he kept interrupting me and saying some smart stuff and he said well what do you want me to do? What do you want me to do real nasty and I’m trying to explain to him that the customer service was poor, He implied to me what you want free food. I don’t need free food. I got money so I just told him to forget it and he kept getting smart rolled his eyes and he was just as nasty as a cashier so in saying all of this, I would never go back and eat at Zoe’s.

I would never recommend Zoe's. Here’s the reason: I ordered a pork chop dinner and a side ribeye to go. After realizing the side ribeye was on the breakfast menu I asked for it to be taken off. The waitress had to get the approval from the rude manager. Who told her it can’t be removed from the order. So I said to him okay I don’t want the order and proceeded to leave. As I walked out he unprofessionally spoke loudly in front of his customers, “Get out of here and get your food somewhere else”. He truly needs customers service skills.

I was referred to this restaurant. As a new resident, I'm disappointed. I feel like the fish served to me tonight was spoiled or some. The fish is not crispy, has no taste, extremely slimy inside. If I didn't live 20 minutes away I would go back. I'm very disappointed. The slaw, hushpuppies, and baked potato was fine after I came home and added my personal butter, bacon bites, cheese, and parsley to the potato. The main thing I wanted for dinner, I could not have because the fish was nasty, very slimy inside and not crispy at all. A waste of my dern $14. I want my money back.I called out there after making this post because the fish smell is just ridiculous with sitting in front of me. I feel sick to my stomach for taking a bite. I told the young lady on the phone about the fish and all she said was sorry about that.SmhAt 5:58a.m., on 3/3 I just checked my card. They charged me another price then what my receipt say. I am up this early because I been feeling sick all night from eating a piece of the fish.3/4 9:35a.m., I went back this morning and talk to them about my food, the call I made and how my bank card was charge different then what the young lady said. The girl at the registered said we charge a surcharge for cards and walked off. This was my first time and last time at this unprofessional place. If you going to do a processing fee charge then post the sign up so someone can see it at eye contact. The young lady even had a nasty look on her face like no one care your order was not right.I DO NOT RECOMMEND EATING HERE OR GETTING FISH.Fish looks good but flip it over after I ate a piece and saw that it was very slimy and had a spoil smell as you got close to it. NEVER AGAIN!!!I added my own topping to the plain baked potato when I got home.

Very family friendly. Staff is great! Food is them of the best country/ soul/ NC downhome cooking you can get in Winston Salem! I go everytime I come back home to visit family I reside in Tampa,FL. I can't get good food like that here.

I’ve been a loyal customer here for years. I ordered the breakfast special w/ bacon, two eggs scrambled w/ grits, w/ a side of cheddar cheese, biscuit and coffee. The eggs were cold, the grits were barely warm and tasted like corn meal had been added. But the worst part was when I sent the plate back to the kitchen. Instead of fixing a new plate the owner microwaved the eggs and sent it back to me. When I asked, “why”, the waitress replied “ I thought he was going to give you a new plate but he just didn’t. He’s the owner”. They charged me for the bacon, coffee and a biscuit that I didn’t eat. This place has been falling off for a while but I had refused to accept it☹️. But I have now. No recommendations from me.

Went there for lunch and the food wasn’t to the liking one of my guest The owner manger whoever he is is so rude arrogant or whatever.. The cursing and UNprofessionalism .. First and last time eating there. You can’t be upset because customers don’t approve of your food .. It’s their money their choice not yours.. I hope people take heed and eat elsewhere. The crazy part is that your staff have to deal with the nonsense and they so immune to it they just go along with it. Never Again …
