“I stopped by here for an early lunch. I ordered a Champstix meal, and it was fabulous! Great portion sizes, plenty of high-quality white meat on the Champstix, and I can’t get enough of the yummy cinnamon apples available as a side dish. All employees were warm and friendly, and they turned the orders around at lightning speed, despite the large number of customers. I’ll definitely return when I’m in the area again.”

“Excellent establishment with very tasty food, great service, very courteous and prompt. Reasonable competitive prices for buffet and items on the menu. Tried the fried trout fillets, quite delicious and tasty. Only caveat was that two sides were a bit tepid, however, still okay, should have sent them back to be reheated. Busy on both Saturday and Sunday. Worth getting there early for parking and food. The atmosphere was family cozy.”

“On the 18th of July around 5pm I went into the Abrams in Ahoskie, NC for dinner and I was blown away! First, the cafeteria style service was EXCELLENT! The woman who took my order was kind, helpful, witty, and super smart!!! Not only is that true, but the cashier was too!!!

So my husband was indisposed and we were in Ahoskie for an MRI at the hospital. Because of this, I had to get our order togo. When I got back to my vehicle, I popped open the plates and I was pleasantly surprised about the freshness, quality, texture and of course taste of each dish!! The seasoning was just right!!! The meal was a close to homemade as you could get!! Simply delicious and the price for three meats and three vegetables was absolutely unbelievable!!! Keep maintaining and raising the culinary standards of today’s “fast food” Abrams of Ahoskie!! You guys have IT!!”

“I Was passing through Ahoskie, my husband and I just decided to stop at Burger King for breakfast. The place was very busy and they got the line down quick. We got two eggnormous burritos and they were fresh, huge, and delicious. Also, the woman working the front window right now is a sweetheart, promote her to manager 👏”

“My grandchildren said they wanted KFC chicken nuggets. It’s been a number of years since I had eaten them and I thought, “Why? Aren’t they kind of hard and terrible? But I decided I would get them KFC nuggets if they wanted them and that I would order them also. I am so glad I gave them another try. They were delicious! They taste like the delicious original chicken KFC had years ago. Yum! They were perfectly cooked, not hard, and will be my go to meal when we are looking for fast food.”

“A couple of weeks ago I started going back to our local McDonald’s. I have not eaten at McDonald’s and almost 5 years because the service was so bad and the food had gotten so much worse going there on the Night Shift was even worse two weeks ago I started going back because my husband had told me that it had gotten much better and I have gone there in the past week three times, I have gone there in the mornings for their frappe and even in the evening and service was exceptional. I think the manager that they have has to be the reason why customer service has improved. The food has also improved is obvious that she cares about what the communities opinion is of this restaurant , yes we know that is fast food but not all fast food comes with great customer service and in my opinion, Ahoskie is moving in the right direction again with McDonald’s!”
