Great experience and fantastic staff who are very laid back and knowledgeable. I ordered a Felt IAX and the whole process couldn’t have been easier (and to my excitement quick). Not only was I kept in the loop during the whole process and received quick responses to questions, but when the time came to pick up my new bike Frank and Matt really went above and beyond to make sure the fit was perfect and that I understood everything about the bike before I left. Will definitely be back and be recommending them to my friends and members of my triathlon club. Even if you don’t live in the area like myself, the quality of service is worth the trip.

In this place they have always solved the problems I have had with my bicycles, on my last visit they helped me with my Stumpjumper evo; fix the brakes and make tubeless and all in less than an hour of work which impressed me (in other bicycle shops they told me that they needed at least two weeks to be able to do that work, in conclusion, if you want quality work, friendly, with a short waiting time and at a good price, do not hesitate to come with Beer City Bicycles. Conveniently located in Woodfin, this store has a very nice variety of bikes and gear. I am someone who is getting back into cycling after many years and still feel like a “kid in a candy shop” when I go in to get something. The terrain has certainly changed over time where bike technology and materials are concerned but you will find the most knowledgeable and welcoming staff here who will take the time to actively listen and guide you to solutions without trying to “upsell .” They were there when I needed something at the last minute on more than one occasion. Thank you!

My teen's old Trek bike. Purchased at The Bicycle Thrift Shop several years ago. Ridden infrequently, a little sad, a little rusty, and in need of new tires. AVL Trek store said not worth it, we'll show you new bikes. Frank at Beer City Bicycles said totally worth it! New tires, new tubes, and a scrub down put us back on the bike! We called while driving through from NY to TN needing some new tires and the owner patiently walked through their inventory on the phone, committed to help and then two hours later when we pulled in, graciously fit us in to get new tires and a safety check done before we hit the road again. Bonus the husband and I split a beer at their bar while waiting. These guys know their stuff and were just great. Super helpful and friendly LBS. highly recommend.
