Fantastic beer. I had a fascinating conversation with the owner who had a refreshing take on his profession. Very down to earth guy with immense knowledge and passion. Visiting Outsider was a highlight of my time spent in Asheville. If you're in town, go pay a visit. You will not be disappointed.
We stopped by for my husband to try a few beers - the atmosphere is unique and laid back. I'm there's a good bit of tables set up inside as well as an outdoor patio. They had a variety of beers of tap - both of the pours my husband had were outstanding. He was able to sample as well. They also work with a local deli to offer fresh sandwiches (pressed there) if you want a bite to eat. They do live brewing sessions which is a unique twist to visiting a brewery to check out. This is an awesome place. They brew while open on a transparent system. It smells wonderful walking in. Three of us had three different brews which were all delicious. Will definitely be back again, too bad I live 2.5 hours away.
