I went for brisket but they don't do brisket on Sundays. The brisket chili was a little watery for my taste, but the flavor was nice. I'll go back another time and try the brisket and update the review then.

The brisket was amazing!!!The mashed potatoes & gravy was phenomenal, the gravy taste like Salisbury steak gravy, the brisket chili was delicious!
After trying several Asheville BBQ places that were lackluster for us, we are so glad we came here. The atmosphere was simple, comfy, and laid back. There are several tables both covered and uncovered, charming lights, and heaters to keep you warm. The service was friendly, quick and well packaged. We ordered to go- 1 lb of pulled pork, 2 sauces (the Texas one and the vinegar based one), with pickles and buns. The pork was fantastic- tender, juicy, and flavorful, and the the sauces packed a delicious punch. Brioche buns added extra yum and the pickles were a great surprise- crunchy and flavorful dill. Very fair prices, also. We will be back.

My boyfriend and I came on a wednesday and we had such a great experience. Although we didn't try the cut up brisket like we originally wanted to, we both ordered the chili brisket and it was so delicious. There was also live blue grass music outside which was so amazing too. The service was super quick and the staff was so kind. Definitely recommend stopping by!

Not even a huge barbecue fan, but I make sure I come here every time I’m in Asheville.Beats every other barbecue spot in the city. Great meat, amazing sides that are never bland or dry, great vibes all around and good prices.A lot of barbecue spots rush together sides and just prioritize the barbecue, not here. You can’t go wrong with any of the sides.Staff is awesome too & always gives some brisket to our pups.

Probably the best brisket sandwich I have had in Asheville. Nice thick slice,great smoke flavor,pickles and onion add exactly what the sandwich needs. Well done!!! Ohh and tender as could be.Definitely recommend.
