Asheville's newest hip bbq. A classic NC roadside bbq joint. Excellent food and service in a no nonsense outdoor environment. Connected to Riverside Rhapsody brewery with a nice selection of locally brewed suds. Great experience all around.
In town for the week, we found this place and loved it so much that we went twice! Solid pork, amazing brisket, great sides (shoutout to the dill mac salad- wow!). Staff and atmosphere were wonderful. They even gave our dog a little meat treat. Don’t miss this place!
Get there early-ish on the weekend if you want brisket! It was sold out when we arrive around 130. Large portions, my husband and I could have shared a plate! Disappointed that there was no Mac and cheese, but did enjoy the mashed potatoes. Pork was great!
