So excited to find this hidden gem! The shrimp tacos were the best I've had and the quesa birria was awesome too! The corn tortillas were perfectly light and crispy and the green sauce was a great compliment! The passionfruit aqua fresca just topped it all off! Everyone else raved about these drinks and I have to agree--they're delicious! This place feels like you just sat down in a friend's kitchen to have some great food and chat! Best dining out meal I've had in a while. Big portions, good price, friendly staff. Good amount of spice, and I don't usually eat spicy foods.
This place is the best restaraunt for authentic Honduran food. We don’t even live in Charlotte and we go out of our way to eat at this place.

El Rincon del Sabor is a hidden gem. The shrimp tacos are the best, and the quesa birria is awesome too. The corn tortillas are perfectly light and crispy, and the green sauce is a great compliment. The passionfruit aqua fresca tops it all off, and everyone raves about these drinks. This place feels like sitting down in a friend's kitchen to have some great food and chat. The Hispanic food is some of the best, with homemade salsa, hot sauces, and grilled jalapenos garnishes for a true authentic experience. There is outside seating where dogs are allowed. The people are really nice and kind. For breakfast, the Bacon, Egg and cheese is the best in the area and tastes like home. The lunch options are phenomenal, with delicious, authentic food for a good price. The food is always outstanding and fairly priced, and the employees are wonderful. There is also a pretty complete mini grocery store with actual groceries, meat, and produce. The tacos are absolutely delicious, including the quesabirria tacos, which are tender, delicious, and seasoned well. The consome and tacos are small, and it would be good to add rice and beans with a bigger consome. Overall, definitely would recommend.
