“A recent visit to Darcy’s reminds me how good food and good management make for a great place to visit. Michelle you and your staff do a wonderful job in not only providing great food, but also genuine care and concern for your patrons. We always feel so welcomed at Darcy’s. The staff is always quick and courteous, and the food is always made to order, fresh, and excellent. Small business ownership is tough, especially restaurants. You and the staff are awesome. So is your food!“

“Very busy steak house.The food arrives hot, steaks as you ordered and delicious. I just wish that they didn't baste their baked potatoes with fat. The Caesar salad is awesome. Crisp, and delicious.The cocktails and beer are varied. Unfortunately, the bartender couldn't make a paralyzer: curdled and grim. So, I chose a margarita.“

“This is easily the coolest restaurant I have ever been to. It is a restaurant/record store/comic book store/small concert venue/event center. The food is awesome, the owners are incredibly nice, the events are frequent and awesome. Everyone should check this place out.“

Elk Burger (mine) Burger was very good Fries too 4/5 Walleye Picatta (hers) She enjoyed it Loved the garlic mash 4.5/5 Shaggy Martini (hers) She found it refreshing and tropical 5/5 Old Fashioned (mine) Couldn't taste the whiskey or any of the ingredients for that matter. All I tasted was water. 0/5 Angels Envy neat (mine) Since I was disappointed with the old fashioned I just went with a reliable whiskey I like. 4/5 Flourless Chocolate Pudding Cake Sweet and chocolatey but you can taste that the cake is flourless. Leaves a chalky aftertaste. 3.5/5 Wait time Was told there was 10-15 minute wait time. I think we waited 10 overall. 5/5 Service The waiter was good and attentive. 4/5 Overall we'd definitely go again. Ambience was nice.“

“I had a very enjoyable meal here on Thursday 2/15. Katelyn was my server/bartender and she was efficient, friendly and engaging. I had several drinks that were great, and an amazing burger. “We moved to the Grand Forks area 3 years ago from Pittsburgh, PA, and before that we lived in Minneapolis. Helix is as good as any restaurant we went to in either of those cities. My wife is glute-free and has a number of go-to items on the menu, which is clearly labeled for gluten-free options. We have gone multiple times and will be back!“

“I have always loved Perkins and I could eat this food forever. I used to eat here all the time after workouts to load up on calories. Before I bring up my big issue with the place I would like to mention that I don't think I've ever been there and the men's bathroom not smell absolutely horrendous, not sure why this is. My main issue is for Veterans Day they advertised a free meal, not sure which menu item it was, the day after Veterans Day, a Saturday. It was advertised this would be a free meal for any retired or active service members. Knowing this I went expecting to get a free meal and when asking they acted as if they had no idea what that was, even after showing them the advertisement. Just very dissapointing for one of my favorite places to eat.“

“We'll kept place, quite large, several gaming choices, great food, fast service, reasonable prices, daily specials on food and drinks. Doesn't get any better. Today at lunch I had bowl of chili $6.95, wife had hot turkey sandwich plate $8.95, and friend with us club sandwich with waffle fries $6.95. All was delicious.“

“Back home visiting and decided to stop in for their local friday night dart tourney. The venue is awesome, lots of room, the dart boards and the big screens on top really help to see what is going on. Liz and Scott were awesome and attentive bar staff, so friendly and on top of everything. I got there early to check it out and got a small dinner/snack, then warmed up and waited for the tourney. I will definatley be going back as much as i can before i head back home“

“They provided the food for my daughters wedding dinner. It was nothing short of perfect. Everyone was extremely fat and happy when said and done. Some of the best beef tips I’ve ever had. Mashed potatoes second only to my moms. Can’t wait to eat their food again. Highly recommended.“

“I always love coming to the Loft especially before Sioux hockey games since they offer a free bus ride to the game. Plus their drinks are good prices for what you get. It's a good amount of space with games from arcade games, darts, pool, etc. plus there's lot of seating and I heard the food is decent! Overall love coming here when I visit Grand Forks!“

“We were looking for a relaxed, brew pub with good food and we found it! Very friendly and conscientious server. Our table was not level and she helped adjust it asap. Excellent food. Big beer selection (although the choices were pretty basic). Clean and relaxed with plenty of room between tables.“
