“I have always loved Perkins and I could eat this food forever. I used to eat here all the time after workouts to load up on calories. Before I bring up my big issue with the place I would like to mention that I don't think I've ever been there and the men's bathroom not smell absolutely horrendous, not sure why this is. My main issue is for Veterans Day they advertised a free meal, not sure which menu item it was, the day after Veterans Day, a Saturday. It was advertised this would be a free meal for any retired or active service members. Knowing this I went expecting to get a free meal and when asking they acted as if they had no idea what that was, even after showing them the advertisement. Just very dissapointing for one of my favorite places to eat.“

“The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the cake tasted pretty good, but you guys mistook an entire word for another. The girl working the desk said “some of us have dyslexia so that’s why”. I’m not trying to be rude, but maybe that person shouldn’t be writing things on cakes?? If I order another cake from there, I definitely won’t have any writing on it.“

“This new manager is doing a good job. Customer service is decent. I haven't noticed negativity or abuse. I guess it would be good if the people in customer service didn't look like children sitting in church, against their will. This review is a snapshot of this time period. Anything can change at any time.Actually, sometimes Hugo's prices are okay. I've noticed several clerks who have gone above and beyond to try to help me find a product, too.I think the district manager has decided to send all the managers with bad attitudes to certain stores and this store he wants to be proud of. I think they are sending the managers with bad attitudes to the Columbia rd. and 13th Ave. North stores. So, those might be the stores to avoid.“

“Cute little place I found while dripping a package at FedEx. I did not get a lunch so I stopped in for some pastries. Everything in the case looked great. I decided on the raspberry white chocolate scone and a HUGE caramel roll, that I split with my provider. The roll was warmed up and stayed warm the 1.5 blocks I had to travel. Cut this bad boy in half and dug in. So much flavor to it. I love cinnamon rolls but sometime there is too much icing. This was great with the caramel sauce on top. Sweet but not over powering where you fall in to a sugar coma, Al helped I only had half. I think it was about the size of my face. I wish I had stopped by for a coffee in the morning, it smelled great in there. If you are looking for whole roasted beans with different flavor profiles this is your place. Buy a bag and they will grind it for you. SORRY, no pic of the caramel roll, we ate it to fast.“
