Service was good, food came out quickly and prime rib and walleye were delicious. Clean nice salad bar, too!

Horrible service, my steak tasted like it was dropped on the floor. Worst experience

I ordered a sirloin medium rare with a baked potato and mushrooms. What I received was a boring, underseasoned potato, overcooked sad mushrooms and a steak that was overcooked and not well seasoned.the waiter took my steak and the cuts of it off of my plate and brought me a second plate much later just to make sure my other food was good and cold. The food overall is underwhelming for the price. A steak house with a chef that can't cook a steak is pathetic. 2/10 I recommend cooking cheap steak at home it will probably taste better.

I had the shrimp Pico which I could have made better at home, shrimp didn't taste fresh like they claim to say. Husband had the filet mignon and it tasted liken it had been dropped on the floor before it was served. We didn't get our appetizer. Walked in and it looks like a nice place but didn't have very friendly staff, seemed irritated to have to seat and wait on us. Over all do not recommend, didn't see what all the hype is about

Ambiance and service were both good. Steak and accompanying side of rice were both very bland. Little to no seasoning. Steak was dry and over cooked. Too expensive for such bland food.

I stopped in for a couple drinks after a long day at the hospital with my brother and was charged $22 each for two basil hayden old fashioned drinks ($44 total). I asked the bartender if that was correct as I’ve never paid that much for that drink before. He quickly said yes, turned his back and walked away. After getting back to my hotel, I looked more closely at the receipt and realized he charged me $10 each drink for the basil Hayden PLUS $12 each drink for the remaining ingredients. Pretty sad. Hope he doesn’t do this regularly!

Wish I would have taken a picture of my meal, but it was awesome. Prime Rib with Red River valley baked potato.

How my experience at Cork and Cleaver Went:The Food: The food was extremely bland, and distasteful. I ordered The Sirloin/Shrimp entrée, with a side of French Onion Soup, and Stuffed Mushrooms as a starting dish. The only thing that didn't disappoint was the soup, and that wasn't anything to rave about. The Mushrooms were very soggy, and the Bernaise was extremely sour, like it was sitting out for too long, or expired. The Sirloin was very dry, surprising for something that was cooked to Medium Rare. The craziest part of all of this was the Shrimp, serving size; 3 pieces. The attached photo is how it was served. The Shrimp/Sirloin dish was $35. That means I paid 17.50 for 3 pieces of Shrimp... And if you see the attached photo, that's how it was served to me, too! I don't want to be to pompous. But I would like some decorum with my overpriced shrimp. Side Note: My date had the Primavera, which tasted like buttered noodles with veggies, no hints of Primavera, whatsoever. $30 for buttered noodles! The Service: Our server was noticeably untrained. He was a younger guy, who was 100% trying, and doing the best he could. But it was the fact that he acting more like a fast food clerk, instead of a higher end restaurant is what got to me. He gave us his best, but it's very clear he hasn't had enough training with the food or liquor menu, every question we had was returned with either a confused stare, or a quiet ineligible answer. Multiple times we had to ask what he said, and still couldn't understand him. Our bill consisted of a starter, 2 entrees, and 2 drinks, which accumulated to $100 dollars, even after our starter was taken off of our bill. If I was going to spend $100 to eat out, I hope that the service included is somewhat included in the bill. (Still tipped 20%, he's doing HIS best)The Atmosphere: Beautiful. You can see that the owners put alot of time into crafting the restaurant to be a one of a kind. It feels straight out of a romance, the atmosphere was rich and alluring. I just wish that everything else was better. Walking in and getting seated hyped me up. Even though we were in a corner crammed, the table felt spacious and presentable for dishes. The walls were covered in many interesting items, almost like eating in an antique store. Even after the bad experience, I still walked around and appreciated the craftsmanship.Sadly, I do not recommend this spot. Maybe if the food and the service got overhauled, I would give this place a second chance, but as of this review, two thumbs down.

Well it all started with drinks, wife ordered a short tap beer and the waitress bought her a tall tap beer that didn't taste anything like the beer that she's been drinking all her life. And the waitress tried to argue with her about it and refused to bring her a short tap beer. Wife ordered prime rib and it was the chewiest prime rib she's ever or I've ever had in our life. I ordered the chicken pasta and a pasta was mushy. Overall the worst food we've ever had. So we ended up only eating less than half of our food and returning the majority of it. We ended up paying $100 for absolutely nothing. Service was horrible and the food was even worse. Will never go back again ever. Would recommend better places like LongHorn steakhouse and Spitfire. Heck even McDonald's would be better... ?Parking: Very limited parking. ☹️

Dined at the Cork twice in the last month. First visit the food took an inordinate amount of time to be served, and was cold. Server comped $13 on a $150 dollar bill. We should have been compensated more. The second visit I had $45 ribeye with a baked potato. The steak was only 1/2 inch where you would expect for something around an inch thick for $45. The potato was very small and not even as big as a tennis ball. We were very disappointed on each visit.
