The whole fish was amazing and so was the lamb shank. Food took a while to come out but was fresh and worth the wait. Not too spicy and very flavorful. Would highly recommend.

We stopped in around 4p on a Saturday and ordered the kid's gyro with fries and fountain drink, an order of kuupa, a beef kabob, and the lamb chunk combo (with rice) with a hot tea. All of it was amazing! Cute little place. It looked like it was just a couple of people working so we weren't anticipating anything fast since we ordered a bit but it all came out fresh and delicious! Really happy we stopped into this little unassuming place! Be sure to check them out!!!

For those of you reading reviews about “ I don’t know why there weren’t lamb gyros etc”. Those people can get a gyro from Arby’s! This is legit 100% middle eastern food, and as someone who spent years over there it has been a comfort food spot for me!!! As for the comment on the “ humus was bland and I’ve been all over the world”,,,,,, If you’re so worldly, why are you in Fargo? Humus is different in every middle eastern country! Did you try the babaganoush? Probably not!! “Foodies” in Fargo ( which this city is ranked last in food culture), are the reason an amazing Afghani restaurant closed! Saffron rice, momo’s…. Come on people!!!! Ishtar isn’t GREEK food, it’s middle eastern!!! Grow a palate and experience new flavors!! Aka, the lentils are a sleeper!! In retrospect, I love and appreciate the quality food, service and diversity they bring to the area…….. maybe you all complaining of small things could use some diversity yourself.

Food was mediocre with not much seasoning/flavoring. Small portion for the cost, has chicken Shawarma platter. $22+. Menu and doors were filthy dirty.
