This bar is awful. There's no other way to put it. Upon entrance all seemed fine, except for the stench and visible uncleanliness. We ordered right away and the bartender handed us our drinks. I tried to hand him my card to pay but he said "cash only, there's an ATM there." And pointed behind us. I've never seen a cash only business before and panicked because I only had a credit card on me, which doesn't allow me to withdraw from an ATM. My boyfriend, luckily had a card that did allow him to withdraw so we were able to pay. I wonder what would've happened if we couldn't pay, given that the drinks were already made? My boyfriend withdrew $40 thinking we might get some more drinks. Not 5 minutes later, they yelled over the loudspeaker that it was last call for alcohol at 1:15 am. That was probably for the best though, because my Moscow mule tasted more like a real mule. I could not recommend this place less, if you happen to be unlucky enough to find yourself at this bar, go for the bottles or cans- at least they can't screw those up.

Went here on a Wednesday to check out karaoke with "Frank the tank" and wasted an hour and a half watching the worst KJ I have ever seen anywhere across the country.The guy plays to the regulars who sang very good if you like listening to them over and over again and not getting the chance to show off your own talents.I listen to the same people three times and decided to leave because I had not been called to sing yet...Frank you really need to learn how to be a better KJ instead of just playing to certain people brother, I think you would get a lot more customers and earn a lot more respect for and from fellow singers! They call it a list for a reason my friend, just something to think about.

would not recommend . I have been to bars across the country and most states. not one place has treated me worse than this place. Kicked me out for no reason. Honestly thinking they kicked me out for being Japanese at this point. Got escorted out of the building for ordering one drink, and one shot after being to only two bars tonight. I have never dealt with any bar as hostile as this one. I am not making this up. Thinking about doing a lawsuit. I don't know if the bartenders were just having a bad night or what was going on, but they took all of their anger out on me. I am sick, upset and angry at the way they treated me and I will never go back to this bar and restaurant ever again and I recommend you do the same.

I only rated the food at 5 cuz we didn't eat and they didn't give me an option. It's rooters. Dark. The staff is stellar though. I would never go at night because I can't stand college kids and that's who they cater to. But it's a decent place. Loved it back in the day to play darts and hang out

Rooters is a great downtown bar with awesome friendly bartenders and quick service. It's usually a pretty easygoing place, and it picks up later in the evening on weekends. Lots of karaoke here as well if you like that.Pretty inexpensive place.

On 4/20/23, I came into Rooters with my 68 year old mother who chose to mask for COVID reasons. The staff told her she was not allowed in Rooters because she was masked. They claimed they had a robbery which initiated the manager to enforce a no masking policy. If there was a robbery, I would think Rooters would be protected better if they looked through bags or checked everyone’s IDs rather than ban people wearing masks.Something to consider... if Rooters is allowed to enforce this practice, what stops them from banning people who wear eye patches, hijabs and any other covering based on being suspicious for criminal activity?
